saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Redmond with a good start...reminds me of litsch. I think he belongs on the roster.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 matt tuiasosopo made the 17 hour flight over to Australia for opening series, as soon as he got there they told him he was DFA'd and he had to make a 17 hour flight back Must not be scrappy enough for Gibson.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2014 Author Posted March 22, 2014 I can't wait to see our offence, it's too sexy
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Atta boy Bautista.. Seitzer effect?

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2014 Author Posted March 22, 2014 Edwin just missed that one Don Kelly almost missed that one too haha
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Lawrie a little jumpy today on those first pitches...
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2014 Author Posted March 22, 2014 Wow the Tigers have 2 super utility players, Kelly and Lomberdozzi
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2014 Author Posted March 22, 2014 Does this mean a possible contract to Drew from the Tigers?
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Dombrowski already stated they aren't interested in Drew right now. Granted that may change if their current in house options stink up the place
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Redmond rally keeping the Tigers off balance... Very impressive so far

Granted that may change if their current in house options stink up the place You're behind lol. Detroit didn't like his price tag and have moved on to other options. Oops lol I am behind, I didn't even know that Iglacias is going to be out for so long lol
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 This good start from Redmond so far worries me. He has no business being in the starting rotation,as it should be given to Rogers to start the year. Redmond looks like he can be an effective long man ( reminds me of Dennis Lamp ),which is extremely important this year for us. Rogers just has much better stuff.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Thole showing he can catch other pitchers too. Yeah, Thole looks really good receiving today.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2014 Author Posted March 22, 2014 Thole showing he can catch other pitchers too. Also that he can occasionally hit! 2 bagger
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Redmond rally keeping the Tigers off balance... Very impressive so far I need to avoid becoming too optimistic about our rotation but I feel better about it than I did a month ago Only the presence of Happ uspets me because I worry we'll take him for the rotation ahead of Rogers and Redmond, both of whom I think are better
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2014 Author Posted March 22, 2014 Wonderful from Goins lol
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Melky is melting hot. Damn that's good to see Last year was so disappointing
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 V-Mart didn't even budge Redmond is a perfectly reasonable #4/5 starter and is making 490k. He's better than Happ who will make 5.2M.

I don't see much difference in Redmond vs Rogers from a results standpoint. Totally different pitchers in that Redmond is far more about mixing pitches and command, while Rogers is more of a power pitcher. Rogers has better overall stuff I think, but Redmond knows how to make his stuff play up.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Too bad we still have to pay Happ's 5 million regardless. Unless we trade him and 1.75M to the Phillies for Mayberry Jr.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Wonder why Reyes is out after only 2 AB....
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Why did Reyes leave game, injury?
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Why did Reyes leave game, injury? Jerry and Buck haven't said yet Hopefully not
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2014 Author Posted March 22, 2014 Great hit and run call! Also great call on the stop at 3rd!
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Melky still hot Rips a double
