matt tuiasosopo made the 17 hour flight over to Australia for opening series, as soon as he got there they told him he was DFA'd and he had to make a 17 hour flight back

Must not be scrappy enough for Gibson.

Dombrowski already stated they aren't interested in Drew right now.

Granted that may change if their current in house options stink up the place

You're behind lol. Detroit didn't like his price tag and have moved on to other options.

Oops lol I am behind, I didn't even know that Iglacias is going to be out for so long lol

This good start from Redmond so far worries me. He has no business being in the starting rotation,as it should be given to Rogers to start the year. Redmond looks like he can be an effective long man ( reminds me of Dennis Lamp ),which is extremely important this year for us. Rogers just has much better stuff.

Redmond rally keeping the Tigers off balance... Very impressive so far

I need to avoid becoming too optimistic about our rotation but I feel better about it than I did a month ago

Only the presence of Happ uspets me because I worry we'll take him for the rotation ahead of Rogers and Redmond, both of whom I think are better

V-Mart didn't even budge

Redmond is a perfectly reasonable #4/5 starter and is making 490k. He's better than Happ who will make 5.2M.

I don't see much difference in Redmond vs Rogers from a results standpoint. Totally different pitchers in that Redmond is far more about mixing pitches and command, while Rogers is more of a power pitcher. Rogers has better overall stuff I think, but Redmond knows how to make his stuff play up.

Too bad we still have to pay Happ's 5 million regardless.

Unless we trade him and 1.75M to the Phillies for Mayberry Jr. :)
