KSaw Verified Member Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Tony Batista (dumbest f***ing batting stance ever) Arencibia Gaston (I know he wasn't a player on the team, but f*** this racist pos) Tony Batista might very well be the nicest person to ever wear a Blue Jays uniform. The guy pretty much has the personality of Pinball Clemons.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Greg Zaun deserves at least an honourable mention here. Guy has scanned cheques to drug dealer, Kirk Radomski, in the Mitchell Report but he waits months before saying anything and then comes up with the ridiculous excuse that he just gave signed cheques to Jason Grimsley with the recipient field blank. Nowadays he goes on TV and calls out cheaters like a total hypocrite. http://www.citynews.ca/2008/02/15/gregg-zaun-responds-to-steroid-allegations/111 And blasts JP Arencibia for bringing it up
Jim_Ackers_balls Verified Member Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Rickey was dogshit with the Jays...except his presence made everybody else better. Alomar batting 6th. A HOF player batting 6th AND that was the right spot for him in that lineup...those were the days. He was hit on the hand/wrist right after being traded to Toronto. He still got on base despite not being able to swing the stick.
Jim_Ackers_balls Verified Member Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Al Leiter. s*** all over the organization, even though they stuck with him and then shits all over the organization saying that "nobody over there believed in me."
Nox Verified Member Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Wow, Mitch Williams was really bad. Career 7.08 BB/9 and -1.8 fWAR and yet he spent six seasons as a closer. We've come a long way in terms of teams not being swayed by the closer label. Fun fact: Mitch Willams received MVP votes. http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/w/willimi02.shtml
Nox Verified Member Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Arencibia and Lawrie are incredibly loathable. Actually, hard to think of any team more hate-able than the one fielded last year.
leaffie Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 He was second on my list. Leiter was given more than his fair share of chances by the jays.
KSaw Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Al Leiter. s*** all over the organization, even though they stuck with him and then shits all over the organization saying that "nobody over there believed in me." Leiter never asked to be traded to Toronto, Cito was apparently a dick to him and he and Randy Knorr kinda hated each other.
KSaw Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Not to mention that he was making under $800k with Toronto and Florida gave him something like $41 million over 7 years, while Toronto was talking 3 years and 15 million. It was around that anyway.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 JPA I don't hate as much because he proved me right. Carlos Garcia for sure. I was just coming back around to following the Jays again (after going full Expos) and the Jays put out this piece of s*** (and traded several top prospects for him and Merced). Joe Carter is on my list too...still hate that f***er How can you hate Joe Carter? Overrated? 100% absolutely yes. But Carter was pretty classy. Jesse Litsch is easily my least favorite Jay of alltime. The cherry on top was when his dad kept emailing me insisting that I stop bashing him on the old board. He's in the public eye dude. Get over it. Litsch had this really bizarre arrogance that was totally undeserving. I didn't want to see him fail but I'm pretty sure everyone saw it coming. (Him failing also meant that we didn't have to hear Jamie tell us the story about how Jesse was the Rays batboy for the zillionth time anymore)
BlueJayWay Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Arencibia Joey Hamilton...no one mention this guy yet?
BlueJayWay Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Oh I forgot Esteban Loaiza. Ugh. How can people hate Joe Carter?

Buster Verified Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Finally got around to reading this thread. No Frank Thomas?
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Finally got around to reading this thread. No Frank Thomas? Why? Frank Thomas was great in 07, and was mistreated in 08.
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Here's the full Game Six of the the 93 World Series: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGbh5UitRA8 The bottom of the 9th starts around 2:35. You can clearly see Rickey did not earn s*** lol. A walk on 4 straight pitches, none of them close. Although Rickey did call time out and throw Williams off his game. They were also pumping up Williams' pick off move a few moments before the Carter HR. So I'm glad that part wasn't just a figment of my imagination.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 I hated Tony Batista's batting stance. Raul Mondesi because he was traded for my favourite player. Jeremy Accardo. Joe Carter for sure. Gruber. Jose Bautista. Anthony Gose. Ricky Romero. I don't know why but I didn't really like Brad Fulmer. But number 1 is JP Arencibia. Good f*** do I hate that guy.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 You mean your 166th overall selection in the initial DDL draft? Yeah, that guy. Reading is hard for you?

Dammit he was such a good hitter. That offense was redonk.
