I love people who go on and on about positivity all the time.....and when you slightly peel back a look at their lives they're a financial, emotional wreck with broken relationships and failure strewn about. Great people to listen to.

The Jays without Izturis and without Drew (they probably won't sign him either) is a worse squad. It's not like they will allocate his salary to improve the team half way through spring training.

The problem is, Izturis is now nothing more than a reasonable backup utility infielder, who is being paid like a 1 WAR starter.

Not a real issue for them. Inglesis was not really on the team for his killer bat, more or less because of his seamless defense. I am sure the tigers are not going to panic because they lost their number 8-9 hitter. They can replace him with what they have internally and not loose a whole lot. It might be a little different if they lost a bat with any relevance.
