Two singles and a walk allowed by Romero in his 2nd inning of work. The Jays really need to start giving him more Spring Training innings. It's great that they are giving Stroman four innings to see if he can win a spot, but Romero makes $7.5M this year and the team needs to get him right again. Let him throe 3-4 innings today and see what he has. He'll have bad innings and good innings, but the stuff and command is more important.

Haven't been online all week. Just looked up some stats. I see Gose and Pillar are hitting their way straight to Buffalo...

Romero had 2 Ks and 2 BBs in 3 innings, and under 60% strikes. That's not a good outing. Granted, it's not 2013-Romero horrible ... it's just not good.

Pitchers IP H R ER BB SO HR ERA

Stroman 4.0 5 3 3 1 3 1 8.00

He pitched 4 innings with 3 K's and 2 BB while giving up 1 ER, get your facts straight. That's sounds like a pretty good outing to me you pessimistic pile of dog s***.

Romero was never good. His success came from his reverse platoon split. As soon as teams stopped playing to his strength he was done as an above average MLB pitcher. Not horrible is his upside now. I'll take it.

I highly doubt that this has any truth to it.

Not really, he lost his command and confidence (which came first I'm not sure), that killed him.
