eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 I honestly couldn't care less about Spring Training. I don't think I've ever been this apathetic about a Jays season before.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Oops , I mean 275 lol Lol, I didn't believe 175 either. I'm the same height and slim and weigh 220 lol. He'd look sick at that weight.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Well, what I can take from those pictures are that Lind looks a little slimmer to me, Morrow looks fantastic, Lawrie doesn't look quite as bulky (which might be a good thing), and Romero just doesn't look "right" (don't care quite so much about the gut, since at this point his biggest issue is between the ears). And Lind really needs to lose that damn beard.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted February 14, 2014 Author Posted February 14, 2014 Same. Last year's team was the most unlikeable Jays team I've ever watched, and with minimal changes I just can't get excited for the season like I usually do. BTS and his affinity as a baseball fan. 2012: Jays-95%, Rays 5% 2013: Jays-75%, Rays-25% (Awful trades) 2014: Jays-51%, Rays-49% (Poor offseason) Note: After Marisnick trade, Boxy, dropped from 99% to -99%
AngryBird Verified Member Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Romero still fat He's on the Babe Ruth diet. You got a problem with that?
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Lind is looking like a bad motherf***er though. No..... No he doesn't he still looks like he could not hurt a fly. I don't think Lind could ever look bad ass lol.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Romero still fat I would be too if I was going to get paid 15 million dollars for two more years of pitching in AAA Buffalo with no TV cameras in sight. More Buffalo wings por favor!
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 No..... No he doesn't he still looks like he could not hurt a fly. I don't think Lind could ever look bad ass lol. It's the goofy smile
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 We need to do a poll on who is likely to get injured. I think Morrow and Lawrie will be out

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 I do feel bad for these guys in the Twitter age. But at least Kipnis is smart enough to fight fire with fire. LOL

The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 That actually has a chance to be a pretty good team if they actually perform. SS- Reyes LF- Melky RF- Bautista 1B- EE DH- Lind 3B- Lawrie CF- Rasmus C- AJ Jimenez 2B- Goins Dickey Morrow Buehrle Stroman Hutch + A good bullpen
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Jimenez making the team out of spring training? Played in AA the past 2 years. I'd say go for it. I wouldn't mind seeing some good defense behind the plate.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Then Kratz is your answer. Jimenez has a little better upside with the bat. And may be even better at defense.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Played in AA the past 2 years. I'd say go for it. I wouldn't mind seeing some good defense behind the plate. Let him have a full season in AAA (catching a damn good rotation too I might add, and the arms he'll be catching up here in the future). No sense in bringing him up early when we have good options there already.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
