He's played 2 games at 2B his entire professional career (MLB + MiLB). It's clear that he will be given a shot to compete for the 2B job, I doubt he will get it though. He'll be DFA at the end of spring training or maybe even before that.

Morel, a 3rd round pick in 2008, hit .177 in 2012 and .200 in 2013. I think we have better players in our system.

No. I'm not a "bot." I just want the Blue Jays to get to the playoffs. The last time we did, Brett Lawrie was 3 years old! So, lets do something different. I don't see how getting a player who hit .177 in 2012 and .200 in 2013 and working on his defense at a new position is going to help us get there. I do like Brenden Kalfus as a future call up in the outfield and there are some good middle infield prospects within our system. Lets develop them!
