jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Carp is stinking like a fish right now as he strikes out. Someone should throw him to Raymond.. so we can get someone who can actually get a hit off the Rays. Too bad Napoli is unavailable (injured).
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Love this. Keep burning those bullpen arms. Atlanta's likely cheering for a long game too.. considering they play Boston next, so they have a chance to extend their NL East lead.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 They're walking Escobar? WTF? I know they want to get a DP, but Escobar isn't exactly a good player.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Going to 14 now.. Hanigan just grounded into a DP. Leuke likely coming in this inning. Time for Sean Connery to start saying things about him..
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Nah I bet Keith Law is gonna go on a rant again
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Anyone know the last time Boston got a hit today? It's so late in the game, I've completely forgotten.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 And on and on and on it goes in Tampa.. looking like a 15th inning coming, unless Andrew Miller blows it (again.)
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Farrell is way too quick to switch relievers. He's going to run out. Capuano for 24 pitchers? He's a career-long starter lol
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Eight Red Sox pitchers have recorded a strikeout (all the ones who've pitched). I wonder if that sets some sort of record.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 This is going to work out well for us I think. The Rays after this long game have an afternoon game tomorrow. Were going to get a tired bunch Monday night! Hopefully we can take advantage. Unlike Boston, at least Tampa's got Ramos stretched out for about 60-70 pitches or so.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 All Farrell has left is Alex Wilson in the pen. Otherwise, they may have to use a starter or put David Ross in to pitch(with Pierzynski to catch, losing the DH.)
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 I wonder who pitches for the Red Sox when they run out of pitchers. I'm going to go with Ross. Likely David Ross. Napoli is unavailable.
Caper Verified Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 If the Sox lose this... it will be about the worst kind of loss.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Holy s*** the red sox game is still going?
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 EPIC FAIL! Miller loses another one throwing the ball into CF. Red Sox have now lost 9 in a row.
Caper Verified Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Almost as much as I like to see the Jays winning... I love seeing the Sox losing.... I love going to their board and reading the pain in the GD thread.
flafson Verified Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 They should DFA Miller, he has 0 confidence. He would rather leave the ball to a rookie than field it himself and that throw to center field was shocking.
flafson Verified Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 lol, I was just going to post the link. That place is a mess. Anything interesting about us? That's the only thing i like to read on other boards...
theblujay Verified Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Lol at the Red Sox. All my Red Sox fan friends are completely apathetic about baseball right now, it's hilarious
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 I love that Gabe Kapler is pushing advanced stats from the announce booth, and he understands them well...and tries to simplify things when talking about them, however, his pushing the advanced stats is coming off as argumentative in a non-argument situation (many here can understand that).
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Love watching Hamilton half swing the other way with the game on the line. Even with them playing in...it's better than a walk.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 The Sox have dug themselves a massive hole. Wow.
flafson Verified Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Nothing interesting about the Jays, although. Miller blows the game (GDT Reaction) Bogaerts, Bradley, Owens for Stanton and a bunch of other "THE SKY IS FALLING" reactions, just like any team board would be after losing that many games in a row. http://www.forums.mlb.com/n/pfx/forum.aspx?folderId=6&listMode=13&nav=messages&webtag=ml-REDSOX We should troll them by creating a thread "Fire John Farrell", should be funny.
flafson Verified Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Their GDT for tomorrow is funny, it's called: "SUN 5/25/14 GDT WTH???????? vs. TB Rays" Here is the link: http://www.forums.mlb.com/n/pfx/forum.aspx?tsn=1&nav=messages&webtag=ml-REDSOX&tid=282734 They have a great lineup for tomorrow.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Red Sox fans are unbearable. LOL @ threads bashing Pedroia. Guy has been a key component of two WS championships and they've almost all threw him under the bus. You can't win it every single year guys.
