jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Tanaka 2BB 28K........ that's 14.0 K/BB rate for all you non-mathematicians.... derp Check Brad Radke's K/BB rate in 2005 for his first 8 starts.
admin Site Manager Posted April 22, 2014 Author Posted April 22, 2014 That's insane to see Cabrera not killing it. Him and Fielder almost identical numbers, except Fielder is walking.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Too bad those two aren't in porn. Icecream girl is, guess who I know. I'm not even ashamed to say I'd occasionally watch a few minutes of Gossip Girl back in the day. They were why.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 BTS has "plans" for the night I guess...
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 I have a craving for ice cream now.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Partial name is 'Cap', figure out the rest! In other news, Matt Harvey tweeted this out earlier http://i.imgur.com/P0IEKB3.png Mets got pissed off and told him to take it down. Matt Harvey then deleted his twitter account. Bunch of hardasses I tell ya.
jerb Verified Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Mark Simon @msimonespn Who is struggling the most in MLB right now? A collection of heat maps pic.twitter.com/Ye34pJx7pQ
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 You'd think he's just getting BABIP'd at .111. But he only has 3 line drives all year. 5.4% He's a ground ball producing machine.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Bunch of suspensions handed out for the brawl the other night. Take effect now so people missing tonight's game.
jerb Verified Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Mark Simon @msimonespn Who is hitting the ball hard the LEAST often in 2014? Among the names- Headley, Craig, Dunn pic.twitter.com/sLNnUnn4Ln
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 3 line drives? That's mind-blowing. What's happened to this guy? He's a functional retard, and his approach and skillset are presently combining to produce the absolute least amount of synergy possible. He doesn't have great innate pitch recognition or plate discipline skills, for one thing. He swings at a huge array of pitches as a result. And he has aggressively adopted this pansy ass "up-the-middle" approach like he's Derek f***ing Jeter, so he's essentially swinging late and softly at a bunch of junk pitches. Ends up putting them in play weakly because his hand eye hit-tool thingamajig is pretty good. Brett Lawrie needs to stop thinking, and start trying to crush balls. I think he needs to get his swing started earlier and swing harder. Maybe let that K% rise by a few points for the sake of some more power. If Carlos Gomez and Ian Desmond can turn into true talent ~.340+ wOBA hitters, then so can Lawrie.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Lawrie has rolled over to second like every AB, why are you guys surprised? lol Something has to change before he can get the BABIP back up. This isn't just bad luck.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Hmmm, Mastro has returned to the Jays! Not sure why mind you.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Unless some of the players appeal. Otherwise, the suspensions will start tonight.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 It's official.. Nova needs Tommy John Surgery. We'll see him in 2015.. likely with another club, as he will almost certainly be non-tendered after this. Bryan Hoch Yankees announce that surgery has been recommended for RHP Ivan Nova (partial tear of right UCL). Another Yankees developed pitcher bites the dust..
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 I have no idea what his numbers look like, but he has a decent 4th OF skill set doesn't he? Gose >>> Mastro imo
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Nova will be non-tendered. He's arb eligible for a 2nd time in 2015 and may not even return then either, because recovery takes 12-18 months.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Dr. James Andrews must be having a great year financially. Yet another arm is headed for Tommy John in Johnny Hellweg, a top prospect for the Brewers.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 lol @ top prospect for the Brewers what an atrocious farm system who was the last big homegrown prospect for them, Lecroy?

NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 who was the last big homegrown prospect for them, Lecroy? Yup, Lucroy. Of their 25-man roster, they've drafted and developed Lucroy, Weeks, Gallardo, Braun, Peralta, Davis, Gennett, and Thornburg. Not great. Better track record than us though lol

NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Tyrone Taylor is an okay prospect, I guess? Tyrone Taylor is a stud. Future 20/20 guy at the big league level.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Johnny Cueto going for back-to-back shutouts. Has thrown up 22 consecutive zeros.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 I always wondered what that guy makes a year. He does surgerys for NFL to pretty sure. Net worth is only $10M. Considering his value in sport that's surprising http://www.celebritynetworth.com/richest-businessmen/business-executives/dr-james-andrews-net-worth/
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Fernandez 8 IP, 14 K, 0 BB, 0 ER A. Wood 8 IP, 11 K, 0 BB, 1 ER Marlins win 1-0. My god.. I have both in my main pool...and somehow I lost a pitching point tonight (roto).
