As a musician, I'm f***ing embarrassed by my profession sometimes.

I'm going go out on a limb here....play music?

I guess the bigger question is, if it's his profession, does he actually make any money doing it?

I would say no, but miracles do happen.

I make money doing it, but it's not my only source of income anymore. Most of my actual paying gigs are studio work, but those are too rare to live off of now that I'm an "adult". I spent my 20s living 100% on music though.

Send me a track. I'm a music lover

I'm in the studio right now (well, not literally at the moment, though I will be tonight...) so I'll have some new stuff soon that I'll send you.

I seem to remember you were trying to make it as a musician way back on the other board. How did that work out for you? What is your band called?

I was able to do some really awesome things, toured, recorded with my favourite producer (go Sylvia Massy!) played with some kickass musicians (I'm now 1 degree from David f***ing Bowie after playing on a track with his former guitarist...) and I made a living doing it for a good decade, plus it was fun as all f***! I'm still playing, I just have to have a "day job" now.

I'm working on a new project now (the aforementioned "in the studio") and while we're officially unnamed, we're leaning towards "Blamethrower" as the band name. Band names are weird things.

Tony Springer. Granted, he only played on one album BUT IT STILL COUNTS!

Oh man, I had completely forgotten about Wild-T. I haven't come across his name in ages.

I have him on facebook, so I get lots of updates. He's still out there gigging regularly, guy's a machine!

I remember being drunk at a strip club in Minot that had a band playing too, jumping up on stage in a f***ing brooks and Dunn flame shirt and singing the beastie boys you gotta fight... Too party! Good times! Lol

Also interesting tid bit trained at the conservatory of music for two summers with the Vieanna boys choir! Lol
