I guess my biggest weakness is not putting people on the IL, no matter how bad they might be I just can't pull myself to do it.

I've become more of an IL kind of guy as I've gotten older and become less inclined to argue with people on the internet. Would recommend.

Looks like the Mets are going to let Syndergaard rot in Vegas all year. They really should get him out of that mess and get some starts in the majors ROS.

Carlos Gonzalez To Undergo Season-Ending Surgery

11:22pm: The Rockies have announced (on Twitter) that Gonzalez will indeed undergo season-ending surgery to repair the patellar tendon in his left knee. The operation will be performed by Dr. Tom Hackett next Monday.

I missed this earlier. First, well ... you started it! Sad that I had to type that, but true. Here, you claimed the statistics you used weren't statistics. Which was a stupid thing to say because 1.) it was just 100% and obviously wrong and, 2.) you started arguing about the meaning of words. You'll likely never win such an argument with me. Second, what the hell is the BBDL? Baby Boy (GD) and Daddy (BTS) Love? I'll pass.

Dont know where to post this but some of the calls against Canada in the LLWS today were just brutal, on a side note some of these kids can certainly chuck the ball with some impressive movement.

I thought they had a great chance to win that game and looked better than the usual Canadian team. Or maybe Mexico isn't as strong as usual. The ump sure was brutal those last two innings though

Holy f***, the Mariners are now +93 this season. Did anyone else not realize they had been that good? I mocked them coming into the season because I didn't think they were ready for a splash like Cano, but they're actually really fun to watch this year.

Looks like they're going to make you some cash. And they could make some noise in the playoffs too. Felix and Kuma making four combined starts in a 7-game series is filthy.

We all mocked them. They appeared to completely disregarded defensive metrics, played guys out of position, picked up somewhat questionable bats in the first place, etc. Somehow they started playing good (last I looked) defense and hitting. Go figure. Either Jack Z has used up a lifetime of luck or him talking at that stats conference wasn't a total joke after all.

The plus defense is one of the season's biggest surprises. They just don't give up any runs.

Speaking of the Mariners, apparently Cano left with a leg injury. Anyone have any idea why Pedroia left in the Red Sox game?

 

No idea. Red Sox lost BTW, after the bullpen coughed it up in the 10th.
