Doubront served up a 2-run shot to Castillo. 8-3 Cubs. BTW, Workman was terrible. (4.0 IP, 5H, 6ER, 3BB, 3Ks) Maybe they should go back to Rubby De La Rosa, who was outpitching him?

They should send him down, amirite?

 

That's Ben Cherington's decision and the ownership's, not mine. He shouldn't be sent down.. but the guaranteed contract of Shane Victorino and his return by the All-Star Break, Wil Middlebrooks' return (although Bogaerts may be the one sent down for that) and Mike Carp returning and being out of options will likely mean Betts will be back in AAA. Only way he stays is if Boston trades some of its veterans.
