We have a choice.. the dingbats at ESPN or the annoying Michael Kay and co at YES..

 

The YES broadcast is phenomenal, take your homer cap off for a second. They're speaking about the importance of framing FFS, and even singling (sp?) out a guy like Jonathan Lucroy.

Great play from Forsythe to rob Beltran. YES broadcast is not even biased, they obviously want the Yankees to win like any team's broadcasters would but they tip their cap to the other team often.

watching both O's game and yanks-rays. Saunders is getting beat up, O's should win that if Ubaldo holds it together. Archer looks really good so far

Archer 2-seam 95 mph fastball to strike out Gardner was beautiful

 

I wonder which DDL or BBDL member is waiting for when Archer is dominating to come out and shamelessly brag about their asset. I'm going to go with BTS.

You'll be happy to know I'm watching the YES broadcast. BTW, they said something how the Rays have been hit hard by bad decisions (Bell, Balfour, etc.)

So is this Kiermaier kid legit? Only 24, posted solid numbers in the minors, and has provided both offensive and defensive value for the Rays this year, 2.0 WAR coming into this game.

Archer is a badass who really hasn't gotten his due yet. His FIP is in the same neighborhood as Scherzer, Cueto and Tanaka this year through 95 IP.
