Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 We have a choice.. the dingbats at ESPN or the annoying Michael Kay and co at YES.. The YES broadcast is phenomenal, take your homer cap off for a second. They're speaking about the importance of framing FFS, and even singling (sp?) out a guy like Jonathan Lucroy.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Great play from Forsythe to rob Beltran. YES broadcast is not even biased, they obviously want the Yankees to win like any team's broadcasters would but they tip their cap to the other team often.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 watching both O's game and yanks-rays. Saunders is getting beat up, O's should win that if Ubaldo holds it together. Archer looks really good so far
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Archer 2-seam 95 mph fastball to strike out Gardner was beautiful
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Archer 2-seam 95 mph fastball to strike out Gardner was beautiful I wonder which DDL or BBDL member is waiting for when Archer is dominating to come out and shamelessly brag about their asset. I'm going to go with BTS.

They're speaking about the importance of framing FFS, and even singling (sp?) out a guy like Jonathan Lucroy. You'll be happy to know I'm watching the YES broadcast. BTW, they said something how the Rays have been hit hard by bad decisions (Bell, Balfour, etc.)
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Holy Kevin Kiermaier! Another blast by him. 2-0 Rays.

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Will someone tell the Rangers to DFA Saunders already? He's looking like BP for the Orioles.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 So is this Kiermaier kid legit? Only 24, posted solid numbers in the minors, and has provided both offensive and defensive value for the Rays this year, 2.0 WAR coming into this game.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 By uncharacteristic bad decisions, which is true. Doesn't help the Rays farm system is dry.. and needs a David Price trade to restock.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Jays will only be .5 games up tonight by the looks of it.

Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Jays will only be .5 games up tonight by the looks of it. wrong a game up if O's win
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Archer 2-seam 95 mph fastball to strike out Gardner was beautiful Archer is a badass who really hasn't gotten his due yet. His FIP is in the same neighborhood as Scherzer, Cueto and Tanaka this year through 95 IP.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Washington challenging an easy call, will be overturned
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 No, that would be me. BTS traded him to me for a late 1st rounder. My apologies, at least I guessed the original owner right.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Ubaldo just made Michael Choice look silly lol
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Archer continues to torture jays and jays' fans smh
BlueJayWay Verified Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Jays will only be .5 games up tonight by the looks of it. They'll be a game up if Baltimore wins.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Peavy just gave up a 2-run HR to Nate Schierholtz. Boston still can't score, even with Mookie Betts.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 DFA Saunders please! He stinks. 6-0 O's as Pearce hits his 2nd HR of the night.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 They'll be a game up if Baltimore wins. And the Yankees will either be 1.5 or 2.5 down depending on the results of the game.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 They can't even get a hit. Or a walk. Arrieta is perfect so far. You may have to clean the spooge off your BoSox voodoo doll. And you are to refer to him as THE Mookie Betts from here on out. Napoli just walked. Still hitless though.
BTS Community Moderator Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Archer is a badass who really hasn't gotten his due yet. His FIP is in the same neighborhood as Scherzer, Cueto and Tanaka this year through 95 IP. His xFIP is worse than Tyson Ross' though!
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Napoli just walked. Still hitless though. 5 innings down, and the Red Sox seem to have left their bats at Yankee Stadium.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 McCann just stole another strike, f*** you McCann
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 TWTW is strong in Loney, just dove head first to first base on a play Teixeira fumbled
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 MISSING: Red Sox bats. If found, send them to Fenway after the Cubs series. Arrieta still cruising.
