This is why we have to give AA credit . I was Happ,s worst critic and while I have stuck up for AA i bitched about his roster management early in the season . now it is all working out AA,s way.

Many on this board will NEVER agree but look at our depth now !!

Agreed. This team is looking pretty good and when Rasmus comes back the depth just gets stronger.

Scary!! For other teams that is . Rasmus and Morrow coming back will mean we have to send down a players that are playing well for us . Santos too. He gets healthy and pitching well locating that unhittable slider and if Delabar is still struggling he can be sent down or become the mop up guy.

What's the word on Morrow and Santos? Haven't heard anything on either of them.

Santos is getting closer to a rehab i heard somewhere today but I have had no news on Morrow . f*** I hope he comes back and is a stud. I know it is like winning the lottery but he could be the best trade a team could make

Good news about Santos, we are going to need him to bounce back. You are right about Morrow, he could be huge for this team, I just don't expect anything from him.

I know I'm probably going to sound retarded to some of the saber guys here, but I'm scared of Santos coming back. I hope Gibby uses him correctly until he can figure things out, we can't afford to let him throw away anymore games, he's already blown like 3-4 games on his own for us.

He probably ends up in a 6th/7th inning role until he proves he can be consistent again.

Rays lose again. Now they're 14 back of the Blue Jays, and 9 back of the O's, and 9.5 back of the Angels.

Like Jim Cramer's soundboard, he'd be pressing the button SELL SELL SELL! No way the Rays come back from such a monstrous deficit.

They have an insanely good offense too, much like Jays... Davis/Cruz - Bautista/Edwin; Markaikas - Lind; Jones - Melky etc...

f***ing Tanaka

He's like an automatic Yankees skid-stopper every 5 days

FU Cashman

Exactly what I said last week. Automatic win. Imagine our rotation with that.

Tampa increased payroll by 20 million dollars this off season

And will probably win 20 fewer games than they did last year

That feels vaguely familiar...

Yep, the o's scare me a bit but their pitching is s***.

I expect some epic slugfests against the O's. We play them 6 times in the last 1.5 weeks of the season.

Imagine our rotation with any one of Darvish, Tanaka or Anibal Sanchez. All guys we could have signed with zero cost in prospects. (Draft pick for Sanchez but still...)

Anyhow, hindsight, and there's no point dwelling on it. But AA really should have played ball in the SP free agent market this off season or the one before it.
