Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Santana was first to bat this inning and they're pinch hitting for him Why not bring lefty in vs Ortiz last inning then?? Retrospect I know. And maybe they would have let Santana bat if they were still up 3 runs?? I said the same thing but apparently I am just trying to go along with the majority lol. It was the obvious move.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Capuano is good at baseball....Why not start him instead of BB-uchholz?
Caper Verified Member Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 This is all part of the plan..... Sox make a big comeback.... tax their pen even more... then lose.... hopefully in the 15th inning. Bwaaaaa.
berenjenareturns Verified Member Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 they trailed 6-1 just moments ago and now it is 6-6.Kind of makes them look like a bunch of dimwitted mopes for getting all bitter about a stolen base with a 5 run lead yesterday now doesn't it??.....
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Sadly, I still fully expect this infuriating Sux franchise to fluke their way into the playoffs.

They're not good enough to jump over Yankees, Blue Jays, Orioles, Rays. Last year was a fluke where everyone seemed to have a great season.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 LOL weather delay Farrell and AJP complaining to umpiring crew
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Imagine how insufferable O's fans will be if they win a world series? The thought is scary

Well they looked like dopey ****s yesterday too so nothing has changed.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Milwaukee Taking a 3 run lead on the O's even with the "Ace" Tillman on the mound. lol
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Red Sox announcers on radio endlessly discussing Buchholz vs Bard. They think keeping Bard pitching in AAA when he was struggling was a mistake. Saying Buchholz should be shut down for a while or sent to Florida to "pitch to high school teams or something"
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 A's 4 solo HR off Smyly. Blue Jays pitching > Tigers pitching
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 f***in brewers coughed up the lead
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Welp, thanks for nothing, Barves.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 brewers screwed up men on 2nd and 3rd one out in the bottom of the ninth
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Since they won their 1st WS in modern day baseball, back in 2004, they've made it to the playoffs, and lost before the WS, in 3 separate seasons, and won 86, 89 and 90 games in three of the other seasons (though one of those was the epic collapse and subsequent clubhouse fallout). They've only had 1 really sh!tty season in that time ... and this one is TBD. Yeah I was including the two "choke" years as laughing stock. To he fair, they still finished well ahead of us.
BlueJayWay Verified Member Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Okay, so with Baltimore pulling the trick today, in the last five days, three AL East teams have been trailing down to their last out and come back to win. That's kind of annoying.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Yup. Huge pro-Red Sox crowd in Atlanta today too.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Bases loaded no out for the Cards. 3-1 Yanks
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 What will Farrell say about the 5-run outburst?
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Credit Mother Nature for helping the Red Sox making that comeback, since the Braves brought in Ian Thomas to serve up 2 runs. Doesn't make things better, though. Farrell has no idea whether Buchholz will make his next start, after he walked 8.
