BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Yup Just install a 3 batter rule any pitcher coming into a game must pitch to a minimum of 3 batters unless injured on a play! Tweak it to not include the ninth inning if you like.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Nope. You're still here. On my ass. Gold

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 While Santos blew the game for us.. the Rays bullpen just gave up the tying run to Jacoby Ellsbury, tying the Rays/Yankees game at 5.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 JPA is still struggling... and he's only playing today because Chirinos is hurt/sick.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 There are no REALLY good teams in the AL East
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 And the Yankees and Rays are burning their pens to the ground as we speak, as that game is in the 13th, and the Yanks choked in the 12th trying to score the winning run with a weird 4-3-3-6-3-4-3-4-5-2 double play (really!) Chris Leroux, who played in the WBC for Canada, is warming up in the pen for the Yankees.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Ron Washington asking Arencibia to bunt with men on 1st and 2nd no outs, wat.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Bet he f***ed it up +1 internetz He bunted two foul and then struck out Edit: And of course, Choo, the next batter, comes through with a base hit to CF which scores one run and moves the guy to 3rd.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Montreal native Chris Leroux is now in for the Yanks in the 14th.. and it's still tied at 5!
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 He bunted two foul and then struck out Lol
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Good thing Darth Vader didn't hit the furry mascot Gapper behind Mr. Redlegs.. I personally know Gapper(his performer I mean.) And BTW, worst first pitch ever! He wasn't using the force there.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Finally, the Rays have broken through in the 14th thanks to Wil Myers. 6-5 Rays. Better hope Tanaka pitches a gem tomorrow for the Yanks.. their bullpen is very taxed.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Chris Leroux probably has pitched his last game for the Yanks. He's given up 3 ER in 0.1 IP.
Spoonovic Verified Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Oh my god. I am playing in a roto 11 team money league with friends. I currently have Harper, Trumbo and Kipnis on the DL. Choo just left the game in LA and Cargo left the game last night. f***!
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 If anyone wants to watch Tanaka, the Yanks/Rays game is on Sportsnet right now.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Desmond Jennings is a stud, high inside fastball which he muscles the other way to RF-CF for a HR.
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Desmond Jennings is a stud, high inside fastball which he muscles the other way to RF-CF for a HR. How did that get out?? Yankee stadium is a joke.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Umpire mic'd up in Yankees/Rays game lol That was hilarious, Maddon's reaction was priceless.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Good thing Darth Vader didn't hit the furry mascot Gapper behind Mr. Redlegs.. I personally know Gapper(his performer I mean.) And BTW, worst first pitch ever! He wasn't using the force there. Darth Vader is a knuckballer!
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Jon Lester dominating the Athletics right now: 5IP, 1H, 0ER, 0R, 1BB, 10K
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Yankees being gifted a second chance after McCann strikes out, ends up striking out the second time.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Tanaka just avoided a Happ-like situation on the mound, as he was nearly hit in the head on Loney's line drive.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 12 Ks through 6 for Lester now. What a monster. I own him in the DDML, so I'm satisfied with this performance to say the least.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Must-see: LSU outfielder Jared Foster made an unbelievable catch last night Even better with the stakes at the time, damn. Ridiculous.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Must-see: LSU outfielder Jared Foster made an unbelievable catch last night Even better with the stakes at the time, damn. I don't think I've ever seen someone get that far off the ground on a diving play, crazy! A bit OT but I hate how the US uses aluminum bats, how does that in any way help the players out? Scouts will always be a bit skeptical when evaluating power when the players get an easy boost.
Frag Verified Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 I'm so glad to have Lester in two of my leagues.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 And Boston will cheap out and let him end up with the Dodgers, Angels, Yankees, etc, just like they did with Ellsbury.
