Eragon Verified Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 The think that confuses me is the walks, how on earth is he walking 10 times and only struck out 15?? It's like minor league ball and it's SSS, doesn't seem too crazy to me. Park Yong-Taik (LG) and Jeong Keun-Woo (Hanwha)..... both with 20 BB and 9 K.. LOL

Eragon Verified Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 My favourite part is the, Position: Infield (Throws Right, Bats Left) Man I hope that's 1B... That is completely insane, he's never played infield in his entire milb/mlb career.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 That was a great stretch at first by Barton!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Mariners about to fall to 7-12 lol. Awful team is awful. You mean all the 1B/DH types and the mismanaging of Ackley aren't working out?
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 That Cano contract is going to be such a disaster. Right next to the Pujols one
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 That Cano contract is going to be such a disaster. You know you overpaid for a contract when you outbid the Yankees.
Convo Verified Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Holy s*** lol I guess you're right Jose Bautista 23 BB, 13 K Leads all of baseball in walks (by 6), 9 more than Votto. Good god, that's a ridiculous walk/k rate.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Rangers win, and I'm sure someone is happy because Soria got them a save lol.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 That is completely insane, he's never played infield in his entire milb/mlb career. Pretty sure he was a second baseman in college.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Cabrera was hurt during the post season last year and it showed badly. Is injury still nagging at him? As tweet above suggests, he just doesn't have slumps like this.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 From Ken Rosenthakl Twitter, listing top 5 and bottom 5 OPS so far: Top 5 Tulowitzki 1.131 Freeman 1.125 Blackmon 1.121 Utley 1.086 Bautista 1.039. Bottom 5 Freese .387 Cozart .407 Lawrie .435 Granderson .451 Carter .461.
shortstop Verified Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 something off with Cabrera, maybe just needs more time to settle in. as for the mariners, perhaps Felix can pitch on 3 days rest the entire season
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 as for the mariners, perhaps Felix can pitch on 3 days rest the entire season And maybe they can sneak Cano in to the lineup twice per 9 batters, wearing glasses and a different jersey or something?
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Mariners about to fall to 7-12 lol. Awful team is awful. Sooo.... spending 275 million dollars on one need when you have 5 needs is a bad idea???
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Sooo.... spending 275 million dollars on one need when you have 5 needs is a bad idea??? almost as bad as spending nothing when you have 3 needs.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 almost as bad as spending nothing when you have 3 needs. True LOL Though some might say 2B wasn't even a need for Seattle. We still want their old second baseman!

Reduce the requirement to 50 PA and sitting at the very bottom is our very own starting 2B Ryan f***ing Goins with a .363 OPS.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 And maybe they can sneak Cano in to the lineup twice per 9 batters, wearing glasses and a different jersey or something? It worked for Larry Bernandez.

Finding a legit front line SP is hard. Finding a league average 2B is not. What a fail to not get that done this off season.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 True LOL Though some might say 2B wasn't even a need for Seattle. We still want their old second baseman! maybe we can let our pitchers hit and pinch hit for Goins instead?

That's what you see when you look at that list? Do you see dead people too! Ryan is not on this list so we alter it so you can rag on him. Ryan has his own thread for haters like you. The fact that Lawrie is on that list totally escaped you? He is not a rookie ! Much more expected of him! He is a more premium hitters position ! He is right now the same as Ryan defense first, bat later! If Ryan stays the same he will not hurt us like Lawrie will if there bats do not reach their potential as Ryan was not as high to begin with! Ps Ryan has his own thread let's keep it there instead of bringing it here!
