Happy trails to former Twin and Ray Jason Bartlett. He announced his retirement today. No biggie for the Twins.. he was garbage so far this season, and they have Nunez in AAA.

His 2009 season is such a massive outlier for the rest of his career. So typical that his one fantastic season came with the Rays.

The other Justin Miller(not the deceased former Jay) is making his MLB debut in mop-up duty with the Tigers.. the Angels are thrashing the Tigers 11-1.

Luke Putkonen, who relieved a lousy Smyly, put up a terrible line: 2.0 IP, 5 H, 7ER, 2BB, 1 K, 2 HR by Kendrick and Pujols.

If we had an outfield with those two, we could bring Bautista in to the infield and run with a 5 man infield.

Hamilton is a MIFer... (I know they moved him to CF)

I'm having a hard time deciding who I want to win this NYY-TB game. Who do yo u guys think is more dangerous this year?

He was garbage so far this season...in 4 PAs.

Can I kindly request that people stop quoting dumbass high85? I ignored him and don't want to throw stuff in anger.

I want Tampa to win, as long as the East teams keep beating each other quite evenly, the Jays could sneak to first by the end of the Cleveland series

JPA's starting chances are gone. Chirinos 3-4 brining his avg up to .240.

TDA hitting .143 can't imagine them keeping him up much longer.

So much for the Rays struggling on offense..Rays lead 9-5 now, as the Yanks bullpen has choked away a lead, led by Adam Warren, David Phelps, and now Cesar Cabral, whose control has been awful, hitting Longoria and Loney.

Oh, and Phelps got hurt on a line drive.

Recker hit his 2nd homer last night and his average is over .200 so if TDA has options he might be on his way down soon

Yankees stronger? Or want Yankees to win? I think the Rays are stronger, but Tanaka pitching like he has can change that.

Yankees rotation will hold up much better than the Rays' this year.

lol good thing no one told him all he needed was one run to win haha

Edit: What the f***, how the f*** does he consistently mash the ball that far in his big ass stadium?? http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/gameday/index.jsp?gid=2014_04_18_seamlb_miamlb_1&mode=video&content_id=32185619&tcid=vpp_copy_32185619

Crazy game apparently

Stanton had a 2 run error earlier

In the 9th an out call at 3B was overturned on a challenge, bringing Stanton to the plate, and he hits a walk off grand slam

Craziness

Here's the error from Stanton, pretty lolzy: http://m.mlb.com/video/v32176875/?query=&game_pk=380786

And another f***ing stupid transfer rule call... it's the overturned call you are talking about: http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/gameday/index.jsp?gid=2014_04_18_seamlb_miamlb_1&mode=video&content_id=32185313&tcid=vpp_copy_32185313

Also, if you thought the Satnton HR was long, look at Salty's. Absolutely mammoth!!

Edit: I can never get the links right. I hate the way mlb.com links them.

I really don't get the transfer rule and why they needed to change it. If you catch the ball in your glove it's a f***ing out. Who cares what happens after.

Yeah, they gotta fix that. Soon.

I actually found J Mac annoying in later years.... he would needlessly make "quick throws" even though he had plenty of time... looked like he was playing to the camera and not the situation.
