The legitimate criticism of his response is that you asked two questions, but received only one answer. So the best interpretation of what he wrote is that, yes, the gun was juiced, and yes, he normally sits at that velo. Which is a stupid answer. A response of "No. Yes." would have been fine, however.

And maybe if you were paying GordieDougie for his services, he'd feel compelled to give you a more complete sentence ... without disclosing any more information than needed to directly answer the question (because that's as bad as not answering the question).

Izturis needs to just be cut loose! He provided extreme negative on-the-field value last year, and this year he's providing a different kind of negative value by getting in the way of more useful players (Diaz or Goins).

He turns 34 this year and he was pretty bad in 2012 before being downright terrible in 2013. I have no optimism, and ZiPS projects 0.1 fWAR in 101 games for a reason.
