It's certainly not a move to get excited about, but in the minors he's posted some very good obp and hit lefties well. He'll likely be used as some kind of super-utility guy at AAA.

It's 38 mins since his minor league deal with the Jays was announced and Steve Tollesen's Wikipedia page has still not been updated. So sad.

Yes but the Jays don't like to call players that. They prefer to use the terms "Starting major league catcher" and "Starting major league second basemen"
