Cooler Heads Prevail Verified Member Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 You call them kids while seemingly being the one dealing with some serious teen angst. Daddy issues? Daddy issues, right? I don't even know what the f*** you are trying to say but it just sounds stupid as well. In case you haven't realized, they are kids and they are generally rude all the time on here. Just had a thought though. Maybe your this kid's mother and that would explain a lot.
kcjaysfan Verified Member Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Whoa, definitely some jimmy rustlin' going on in here.
kcjaysfan Verified Member Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 My prospect report on Rob Rasmussen. http://www.breakingblue.ca/2013/12/04/birds-eye-view-rob-rasmussen-prospect/ Despite any grammar criticisms, it was a good article, Allan. I neglected to mention that.
Caper Verified Member Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 "He also has had slightly more success against lefties than he has against righties registering an OPS of .683 to .743 respectively against each." A few more commas, if you please, sir. I would put a comma after "righties" and ".743". I would also drop the "against each" and change "to" to "and". "He also has had slightly more success against lefties than he has against righties, registering an OPS of .683 and .743, respectively." Jesus Christ. Really?
kcjaysfan Verified Member Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Jesus Christ. Really? Why is writing in clear, concise English so bad?
GD Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Woops another big one, Kratz and Rasmussen came here from the Phillies, not the Dodgers. I need you and kcjaysfans to edit my articles, lol. "Yan Gomes is just a guy" -Gordendouger ihateeverythingihateeverythingihateeverythingihateeverythingihateeverythingihateeverythingihateeverything
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 There's still part of me that believes that somewhere inside AA, there's a very good GM, and that he was being forced by the higher ups to spend money egregiously last year... Hopefully this is just the start of bigger/better moves Are you Alex's cousin or brother?
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 To make everyone cry: Yan Gomes Steamer 3.0 WAR (380 PA) Travis D'Arnaud Steamer 2.8 WAR (451 PA) ******** projection. I hate the Steamer projection for catchers.
Caper Verified Member Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Why is writing in clear, concise English so bad? If you fashion yourself language police on every message board, or social media platform you may post on, you are in for one serious never ending headache.
kcjaysfan Verified Member Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 If you fashion yourself language police on every message board, or social media platform you may post on, you are in for one serious never ending headache. I was merely pointing out a couple grammatical changes to an otherwise splendiferously written article.

Its not like he's editing the guys forum posts. This is an article on their blog, which is garnishing come nice national attention. I would think they appreciate the free editing.
Nox Verified Member Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Maybe your this kid's mother and that would explain a lot. Stick to numbers, genius.

For the blog, having it worded and structured well is very important to add legitimacy to it. They are trying to help, not be asses. If I decide to write a few pieces for the blog in the future, I know I'd appreciate someone pointing out those kind of mistakes.
mitchf Verified Member Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Lincoln's fastball just couldn't get by batters. It looked electric, but got squared up far too often. I did really enjoy his 2012 curveball though which he seemed to get away from last year. In other news.. Travis Snider no longer has any fingerprints on this organization.

Ehjays Verified Member Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Maybe, no-one will agree but I feel that starting pitching is our most pressing need, I get we needed to update the C position but to say we needed that ahead of SP....I completely dissagree I do like the C position now though as opposed to last week.

I'll take Hutchison over a Goins/Izzy platoon.
GNick Verified Member Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Lincoln has a great arm but for whatever reasons NL pitchers do not work out well in Toronto.
ace3113 Verified Member Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 KLAW on Lincoln: Nik (Philly) Thoughts on Phils acquiring Brad Lincoln? Can he perform like he did in 2012? Klaw (12:14 PM) Just another RH reliever. Homer-prone in a small park now.
