The best news to come this weekend is that AA is in on a small trade which could be completed within a few days.

 

Not knowing what the trade is of course, but now we should all prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

What I got from the interview was that AA was really high on Stroman helping in the rotation this year. He is very close and should be able to help either right away or at some point was what AA said.

 

I came away with the thought that we were not moving Stroman . Then again I listened to it while hunting and we were seeing quite a few deer just not big enough racks so my attention wasn't,t the best.

 

Sanchez, Goins , Rasmus , and loup for Phillips , Bailey , Hanigan with a window to sign Bailey long term .

 

Make it happen AA while I go and shoot a 180 class deer tomorrow

I wouldn't move Rasmus but that's just me. I'd much rather extend him and have him as one of our core pieces along with Lawrie. This team is already old, I don't want to unload the few young established guys we have like Rasmus.

 

I would do something like Sanchez, Gose, Cecil, Nolin and Dean. Or something along those lines with a window to extend Bailey. It gets us pieces we need now and we still have key guys in Stroman and Hutch as depth along with a wildcard like Drabek. I could live with that.
