Sorrow Verified Member Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 http://insidethezona.com/2013/11/diamondbacks-trade-match-toronto-blue-jays/ This is from a diamondbacks fan. There trade pieces are Tyler Skaggs, Trevor Cahill, Randall Delagado, Chris Owings. Possible trades: 1. SS/2B Chris Owings and C Michael Perez for LHP Brett Cecil and RHP John Stilson 2. RHP Trevor Cahill for LHP Brett Cecil 3. RHP Trevor Cahill, SS/2B Chris Owings, and $4M for LHP Brett Cecil, RHP Marcus Stroman, and LHP Daniel Norris. I would take #2 trade in a heartbeat and #3, I'd adjust and Arizona doesn't include any cash, and we switch out Stroman for Stilson. If I can get all those pieces so Owings, Perez, Cahill I send them Norris, Cecil and Stilson plus something like Sierra/Pillar in terms of prospect value if it gets the trade done. Owings is a legit prospect that fills massive positional need for us, Perez is an intigueing option and Cahill would provide back end help and eat a lot of innings.
Convo Verified Member Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 The hypothetical trade scenarios sure do get old fast.

jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 I'm bored so i'll post a lame trade proposal. Who hangs up first? Jays trade: Mark Buehrle, Colby Rasmus, Brett Cecil and DJ Davis. Jays receive from reds: Brandon Phillips, Homer Baily, Ryan Hanigan. - We get a pitcher who put up a 3.34 Xfip and has the stuff to pitch in the AL east. Fill huge black holes at catcher and second. Moving Buehrle allows us to take on the Phillips contract. Yeah, we put a black hole in CF with Gose...but i can live with an elite defender at CF who we can put 9th in the lineup.

Why would the Reds want Buehrle when the whole reason they want to move Phillips is to free payroll?

Buehrle would kill any deal as he is way over paid. I would offer Rasmus and Arencibia for those 3 though?
GD Old-Timey Member Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 I would offer Rasmus and Arencibia for those 3 though? In order of speed: 5.) Cheetahs 4.) Sound 3.) Light 2.) Tachyons 1.) How fast Walt Jocketty hangs up after hearing that proposal
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Anyone going to the Bills game today?
