o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Matt Harvey is going to need to be institutionalized. I'm not joking. thought he already was? he's a helmet to the dinner table kind of guy. maybe he's just got a professional side kick to help him deal with society?
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 The best thing about him being traded to Philly...there's almost no possibility that he will have some kind of Bonafacio-like turnaround, no matter how brief...and in the off-chance that he does...meh...let him take it out on Atlanta for all I care. There is no downside to this.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 At a bare minimum, I would expect most people to agree he should be relegated to DH/PH type of duties, even if that's not a particularly smart response. that's like letting Ray Charles drive your car. sure it might be a laugh at first, but you know someone or something is going to get hurt in the end.

I would say anyone who has a somewhat sensible Twitter account is at least functioning in society enough to not be institutionalized. I would guess that those "extreme autistics" like Rain Man wouldn't even have Twitter accounts because they wouldn't care about normal human interactions in any form.

JPA's fanbase is pretty thin now. chicks who would f*** for notoriety and mental cases who mistake kindness for talent. JPA isn't a bad person, he's just really stupid when it comes to baseball and the concept of self worth. if his IQ was any lower he'd be a kardashian.

They're called critics fool...use the proper word once in a while.
admin Site Manager Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Because AA is f***ing stupid. Why didn't they get JPA a catching coach when they very well knew he was a s***** catcher? Why? For the love of god someone please ask him.

Improved on that for you Eastbound and Down V2 feat Lunchbox and Da Ceeb Edit: Add in Ricky Romero, Kawasaki as the sidekick, lots of Tequila and it's a laugh a minute Edited November 14, 2013 by G-Snarls

Kawasaki will probably go on to become an investment banker in Japan because I assume he's good at math. The other two should fit in the Mexican League perfectly though.
BlueJayWay Verified Member Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 The average fan thinks quite highly of JP, it's f***ing ridiculous. I don't know if they exactly think highly of him, but I'm pretty sure the casuals have no idea just how bad he is. They probably think he's alright. He has the typical hockey-like "dude bro" personality, tweets about hockey, is good looking so the girls can't see anything else, and he gets some homerzz and rbizzz.
admin Site Manager Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Was any of this stuff actually confirmed to be said by Gibbons? Who is this guy that tweeted it?
