At a bare minimum, I would expect most people to agree he should be relegated to DH/PH type of duties, even if that's not a particularly smart response.

I would say anyone who has a somewhat sensible Twitter account is at least functioning in society enough to not be institutionalized. If Ricky is intelligent, he should have enough money to not be forced to toil away in the minors well into his 30s.

I don't know if they exactly think highly of him, but I'm pretty sure the casuals have no idea just how bad he is. They probably think he's alright.
