With all the respect to Farrell, i really doubt he had much to it. I still think Gibbons is better.

The club on the other hand, it's pretty clear we are no where near to the Red Sox as a club.

I guess only time will tell.

Bang on analysis. Boston had a team that their organization believed was playoff worthy... And they bombed that year, so Valentine was sent packing... The season was a disaster, and the results spoke for themselves. It wasn't working with Valentine, so changes were made.

 

Same situation happens with Toronto and somehow they're still ecstatic to have Gibbons remaining as the manager.The team was miserable, their plan wasn't working... Changes needed to be made.

 

Gibbons is an angry fool. Guy has a negative aura to him. The guy was all angry at the Toronto media... Calling the guys who cover the Jays "gutless" just because they pointed out how awful JPA was playing. What an insulting thing to call people just for simply pointing out the truth and doing their jobs. It's not like the media was being unjustifiable. And Gibbons never even publicly apologized to Dirk or Zaun for unfairly, grossly criticizing their characters. Theres obviously not very much going on "upstairs" as far as John Gibbons is concerned.

 

Lmfao, I really miss this guy. The last line was my favourite due to the sheer weight of irony.
