330 wall scraper that would be just a routine fly out in Fenway. It's a good thing park factors exist to tell us that A season of those fly balls in Boston would be less valuable than those in Toronto or Yankee stadium.

Mottola seems to get every hitter on track except JP

 

JP isn't fixable until he gets his head out of his ass and acknowledges he needs to change. I really love everything I've read about how Mottola works with the hitters.

funny that JPA was whining about that pitch. so many other players have had strikes called that where way off the plate. JPA strike 3 was center cut and well above the knees.

Get him a good platoon partner with some semblance of defensive usefulness and you'd have something pretty good.

Is it just me or does Luis Perez always come out of the pen and fall behind 2-0 or 3-0 to the first hitter? It's just automatic. He's like Brian Tallet that way.
