When does he can't run anymore though, is key. He's still that guy, for a likely long time, and he can still throw the skin well, mate. Careful what you wish for.

RG3 was one wrong turned knee

Ju1ced is censoring my speech, my posts are disappearing.

Anyway, I said that Lamar has already missed significant time with leg injuries and he can't pass for s***. If he can't run, he's essentially Baker Mayfield.

Curious how people see the AFC East now. It feels VERY similar to the AFC West last year. The Chargers and Broncos were going to fight to win the division, the Chiefs were going to take a step back, and the Raiders were going to make some noise. Aside from MAYBE the Raiders, there's a facsimile of each of those AFCW teams in this year's AFCE.

The Dolphins are the oft injured team full of talent with a young dipshit as head coach from a highly regarded coaching tree (Staley with McVay, McDaniel with Shanahan) with admittedly more questions at QB but more weapons, who spent a shitload to challenge the Bills.

The Jets have a great defense with a bald HC and are perpetually "a QB away" and on the verge of trading for a big name, old QB who will suck up payroll and draft capital. Apparently had himself 90% in the grave before ingesting a bunch of ayahuasca and getting pissed off at the Packers, and returning to football out of pure spite. They are eerily similar to the Broncos.

The weakest connection here is the Raiders to the Patriots. All I'll say is that they may be viewed as a dark horse because Boston media can't stfu with the overhype.

And then the Bills have lost a big piece (Edmunds) but otherwise largely stayed the same and are currently being overlooked in light of the shiny objects in Miami and NYJ. They are the Chiefs of this year with a top 2 QB and, past Diggs, a bunch of lower key guys to throw to. KC with the better OL and offensive PC, Bills with the better defense.

Don't underrate Gabe Davis. I read that he played through a high ankle sprain last year that wasn't well reported. Diggs, Davis, Knox is plenty good and they've added some new slot guys to help out. Cook also looks ready for a larger role in the backfield.

I didn't realize Singleton was a FA. Texans signed him. Cook better be ready to step up for the Bills - who I would agree now need to add some playmakers to the offense. I've seen Bijan Robinson mocked to them at 27, but also lots of reports that he's a top 5 player in the draft (despite being a RB) and thus they don't expect him to be available in the 20's.

Lots of WR mocked in the 20-30 pick range, so could see them add a WR in the 1st and pick up another RB to pair with Cook in the 2nd - 4th rounds. Singleton only got like $3.3M, so it seems doubtful the Bills are looking to sign a RB.

Buffalo also just re-structed with Nyheim Hines. It was kinda weird how little RB he played after the midseason trade to the Bills.

They signed Trent Sherfield today which sounds like a nice addition. Shakir was starting to break out at the end of the year too. I think WR should look a bit better next season.

Well this didn't age well. Bills sign Damien Harris. 2 down back who's produced when healthy. Harris, Cook, Hines seems like a nice mixture of abilities in the backfield.

Are your purposely typing out Singleton? Or did you mean Singletary?

Didn't see that, hell yeah, don't mind Damien Harris at all. NGL the idea of Bijan is very mouth watering. The problem with Hines and Cook is that there's too much overlap with their skillsets. Fast, smaller backs with good receiving ability who are poor in pass pro.

Idk if I buy the excuses for Davis. He had a lot of really bad drops, and a catch rate of just 51% when targeted. Dunno how the ankle works there. Imo, they were using him incorrectly, and they need to back to utilizing him as a deep threat and nab someone like JSN, Addison or Flowers in the draft to take some heat off Diggs.

I'd support that. I also think Cook has the ability to carry the ball more (similar to Singletary maybe?) than Hines. Agree that both need to improve the pass protection.

Here's a little roto/fantasy writeup on Cook

While not exactly fantasy relevant outside deep fantasy formats, Cook was quite good as a rookie. On 89 rushing attempts in a split Buffalo backfield, Cook had an elite yards before contact per carry of 3, second among all qualifying backs. He was 19th in yards after contact per carry (2.7) and led the league in PFF's breakaway rate (44.1 percent).

Cook acquitted himself well as a pass catcher too. Only nine running backs who saw at least 30 targets in 2022 had a higher yards per route run than Cook (1.7). We could see him take that role for himself with the Bills' signing of early-down banger Damien Harris, a move that should keep Cook's redraft ADP nice and suppressed throughout the spring and summer. Cook was never going to see a massive workload in the Buffalo offense. His best-case scenario -- lead back duties on a potent Buffalo offense -- and his rookie year efficiency give Cook plenty of appeal at what should be a reasonable ADP.

And yes - I'm dumn, it's Singletary, not Singleton.

Latest report is two 2nd round picks for Rodgers with a clause that moves the 2024 2nd rounder to a 1st rounder based on certain criteria (like Jets making it to a certain round of the playoffs, Rodgers playing in 2024, etc).

Well it's finally a done deal....I think it's a win for both sides really.

Jets acquired QB Aaron Rodgers from the Packers.

In addition to Rodgers, it appears the Jets are receiving the No. 15 overall pick and a fifth-rounder. For their part, the Packers receive the 13th, 42nd, and 207th selections in this year's draft and a conditional 2024 second that would become a first if Rodgers plays more than 65 percent of the offensive snaps in 2023. Rodgers and the Packers burned numerous bridges this offseason after the two had been gradually falling out over the previous three seasons, leaving the proverbial door closed on a return to Green Bay. The Jets get their aging veteran quarterback while the Packers move forward with former first-round draft pick Jordan Love. Initial reports indicated the hold up on the deal was New York's 13th overall pick in this year's draft, making the inclusion of a non-performance-protected 2024 conditional first-round pick a significant win for general manager Brian Gutekunst and the Packers.

Yeah, good trade. So long Aaron, you will be missed. A new Packers chapter begins, should be interesting.

I was kinda hoping the 49ers swooped in because that would have been hilarious, but the Jets are just the 2022 Broncos in 2023. Them having the second best odds to win the East is pretty hilarious.

Solid drafts by both the Packers and Bills IMO. But man - the Eagles KILLED the draft this year. Looks like they are building a sustainable winner.

This is what annoys be about pretty much every draft conversation in any sport. Jalen Carter fell for a reason. Nolan Smith must have as well, not sure, but having the media give you an A+ for the draft is really easy. All teams have to do is:

- throw out their own board

- adopt PFF's, ESPN's or some amalgamation of a few media rankings

- strictly follow said board while picking somewhat for need and not picking too many players of the same position

That's it. Really, we don't know how any of these prospects will do. Josh Rosen, Zach Wilson and Sam Darnold were supposed to be superstars and Jalen Hurts was supposed to be a backup. The 49ers are set to start the last pick in the draft over a guy they picked #2 overall, even with both being healthy.

Not meaning to call you put in particular but I find draft season so irritating.

Damn I'm actually mad

And people are *still* trying to justify their abysmal behavior

I hope Araiza gets signed, plays the Bills, and then hits 3 80 yarders inside the 5 and passes for a TD on a fake punt. f*** this fanbase. I wish my dad had been a fan of a different team.

Not surprised to see Boxy defending a Bills player who gang raped a minor while admitting to being chlamydia positive. f***ing pathetic!

It's really so easy. Is life hard being this dumb?

You're literally changing the goalposts by saying her age was different than it was. She was 17 and a minor, and intoxicated. It's rape. End of story!

End of story indeed. I wish that phrase pertained to your presence on the internet.

It would have been tough for the Bills to take on that kind of distraction. Now that's he's been cleared they should take him back. But it seems like they like their punter now and have signed him to an extension so maybe it's best for him to move on to another team.
