Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 Oh yeah, the LA Chargers won the internet for all time last night with this masterpiece. The Urban Meyer part made me piss myself. They didn't pull any punches, but some of them have kind of subtle jabs, Atlanta especially. How'd I miss this... lmfao
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 If anyone ever wants Bills tickets, let me know. Have seasons in Sec 337, Row 9.

Just looked, that's a Sunday Night Football Game, damn, again I want to see both teams do well. Edited August 15, 2022 by Spanky99

No, I don't care enough about the Packers. I want to see them crush an AFC team with annoying fans. Chiefs, Ravens, Patriots, Dolphins (less annoying, more delusional). Only 2 options for those teams. Oh, btw, anyone has some airtime to fill while they are doing something, try listening to Patriot podcasts from before and after the playoff game. I was listening to a couple of salty morons who full on said that the first perfect game in history wasn't a great or "exotic" offensive performance. Basically the only reason it happened is because the Patriot defense was bad and Josh Allen is an average QB. I'll never get tired of watching these losers fall on their ass

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 Matt Judon is funny sometimes when he's not pathetically failing to get anyone to want to play in NE.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 Wait... you actually have to be a Amazon Prime subscriber to watch TNF??? Da fuq... am I reading this right???
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 I may take you up on that, just hard to decide who I want to see the Bills crush in person Also, have Browns season tickets as well haha. Sec 535, Row 26. Third year I've had them.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 Also, have Browns season tickets as well haha. Sec 535, Row 26. Third year I've had them. So you purchase them to sell them?
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 Wait... you actually have to be a Amazon Prime subscriber to watch TNF??? Da fuq... am I reading this right??? I'm an Amazon Prime Member though that's ridiculous. These streaming services are starting to get into sports now like Apple TV and YouTube with baseball. It's annoying.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 So you purchase them to sell them? Plan every season is to go to 1 or 2 games in Cleveland and sell the remaining games. Make a weekend out of it. Would be nice if I could pair a Guardians game one weekend as well. Probably would go to 3-4 Bills games since they're closer. Browns and Bills season seats are very reasonable especially for upper bowls. With Cleveland, was able to sell all my games last season above my cost. First year with Bills tickets, so we'll see how they work out. If the Bills ever hosted KC or Tennessee in the Playoffs, that would be sick!

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 Nice, could pay for your trips, lol. Yeah definitely can pay for gas money haha. It's easy to make a day trip out of it for Buffalo. For Cleveland would have to stay overnight most likely, make it a weekend. Only was is if it's a Sunday 1PM game, leave really early Sunday morning and come back later that night, though that's a lot of driving just for one game haha.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 Wait... you actually have to be a Amazon Prime subscriber to watch TNF??? Da fuq... am I reading this right??? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I'll have to check but I'm pretty sure there were games streamed last year that I was still able to watch on DAZN. These streaming services used to be a good way to cut cable but now if you want everything, there are so many that you'll probably end up paying more than you would for cable anyway. I just sub to DAZN, Netflix and Prime through the membership I would have regardless of the streaming platform. I am not signing up for Apple TV or any of that crap.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 Punt god, for the 5 people who missed it

Yeah like you said, even if you scrap cable which most have, you're probably paying more if you have subscriptions to all these streaming services. Android Box is a good substitution for cable. Just need to buy the box and it's $15 per month and you get pretty much every single channel worldwide almost haha. I only have Netflix, Prime Video (because of my yearly Prime Membership), Paramount + (for South Park and only $5.99 per month and there is a lot of other content), MLB TV and a yearly subscription to Sportsnet Now (in order to watch Blue Jays games). I'm thinking of getting rid of MLB TV for next season since Blue Jays games are blacked out anyways, and Sportsnet also airs Yankees/Red Sox games or some late night west coast Dodgers games. As a Browns season ticket holder, there are some perks. Have free access to NFL Red Zone and NFL + and a free Madden 23 download haha. Gotta look into them. I'm sure I get special perks as well with Bills season tickets, have to check.

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 11 games for DeShaun Watson There goes the Browns season.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 There goes the Browns season. I'm pretty sure it was down the toilet under the original 6 game suspension. If you make it to Cleveland this year - check out the Butcher and the Brewer on 4th Street East. Awesome spot. 4th Street East in general is really cool.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 There goes the Browns season. This was hilarious. Watson while negotiating settlement: I'm sorry to all the women I affected, I will try to continue to grow and improve After settlement: man f*** them hoes, I dindunuffin. Jimmy Haslem: I believe in giving people second chances, especially because he's a star QB A second chance for what? Watson said he's innocent?? f***ing Browns, Brownsing again.

I've been both times when I was in town. They're actually a lot of cool restaurants/bars around Cleveland, especially on East 4th Street. It's not as bad of a city as people make it out to be. I've always had fun when making a weekend trip both times catching the Jays or Raptors.

East 4th Street was really cool.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 This Dana White / Brady / Gronk bombshell is pretty crazy. What I can't figure out though is why was Dana White putting NFL deals together? Is it just because he's so connected with...everything?

Probably is but if there’s one geographical region he’s going to have a big personal stake in, and the most connections, it’s going to be Vegas

Wow... how does Gruden say No, what a meathead, lol.
