Don't even bother. This is about having an agenda for them now, a mission even. Now they're talking about Kawasaki like he's not a replacement player himself. The edge between the defense Goins brings is FAR GREATER than the edge Kawasaki brings (if at all) offensively.

 

This is coming from the same group who think and support the notion that Dickey is a quality SP with a projected ERA of 3.5 in 2014.

Goins deserves credit where credit is due for his D. It's been a massive upgrade over Bonifacio.

 

He's hit the ball harder lately as well. Still don't think he sticks but he has been stinging the ball a little bit.

I'm sorry to have to say this but anyone who still thinks Goins can hit at the major league level is as dumb as s***. The guy is built like a 14 year old girl and is a complete black hole in the lineup. He's driven one ball as far as the warning track all year and is almost a guarantee at this point to either strike out or hit a weak grounder to the right side. He's also failed to make contact on a few hit and run plays that have led to the runner being thrown out. Not to mention his body language which speaks of a testosterone deficient fruitcake.
