wardhenke1 Verified Member Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 JPA as a pinch hitter in the 9th in a two run ball game? Exhibit A as to why we need a major overhaul in the off-season, not just "tweaking".
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 JPA: expert hitter. let's hope he doesn't f*** us up in the 9th
Arkadium Verified Member Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 JPA lowest OBP in the majors amongst qualifiers - next worst is 13 pts higher
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2013 Author Posted August 6, 2013 Reyes hanging out with lawrie and jose too much bahahaha
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Wow, I don't think I've ever seen Reyes pissed off before.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2013 Author Posted August 6, 2013 JPA lowest OBP in the majors amongst qualifiers - next worst is 13 pts higher This is why he should bat 9th, less damage.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2013 Author Posted August 6, 2013 I think this needs to be said again JPA Home runs by month April: 8HR 16RBI May: 4HR 13RBI June: 3HR 7RBI July: 2HR 8RBI August: 0HR 1RBI But but but... "Dirk and Gregg should be talking about my RBIzzz!" When he doesn't hit home runs... what can he do?
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2013 Author Posted August 6, 2013 Blue Jays Win! great game!... minus some of the D
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 MDR! While I really though we should get rid of him early on, he's been valuable to have.
Howard Roark Verified Member Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Funny, I've been cheering for tanking losses for the past 2 months or so, yet I thoroughly enjoyed this win tonight. I am doesn't understand.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2013 Author Posted August 6, 2013 The home fans go home happy!
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2013 Author Posted August 6, 2013 I'm 3-0 with the gdts.. against some tougher pitchers, iwakuma, holland and wilson.
Howard Roark Verified Member Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 You're confused why you're happy that your favorite team won? Tanking is for fags. Unless its for Wiggins. The way I look at it is short-term pain for long-term gain. But I guess that makes me homosexual, right? The Raps are treadmilling this year, again. We're going for 9th, baby!
Caper Verified Member Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Reyes mad bro? Reyes looks like a racist caricature when he gets mad.

I'm just looking for positives to take into next year.... somewhere in the last month Lawrie has found something.... hardley any weak pop ups or infield hits... solid contact for a while now. Big hopes for him next season.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 That was a very enjoyable end to that game. Was nice to see Oliver Perez get touched up after trying that little stunt on Bautista.

I found it really funny. The guy was trying every possible stunt to get out of the inning without pitching but then he was touched for a few runs.

Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
