Depends what the scouts say. If they say he's MLB ready AA will drool and make a pitch. If they think he needs MiLB time they'll probably spend the money to help them win now.

There have been statistics (raw and translated) and scouting reports of him that would suggest he'd be a smart signing at 7/32 like the report suggested.

That's possible but the deal was never agreed on to begin with. Haren didn't fail a physical or anything. Reporters like to be the first to report something, so they'll jump the gun and say it's a done deal before any agreement has occurred.

 

It's likely that Guerrero is close to signing with the Dodgers, but it's clear that he hasn't signed yet. Anything can happen.
