Just because we saw it coming doesn't mean we have to be happy about it and just accept it. AA is trash, Beeston is trash, and they're killing this franchise with every dumb decision they make.

I would've given up the Jays' equivalent of Avisail Garcia for Iglesias. Can AA please address the gaping hole in the MIF. Is he really going to make us watch a whole year of Bonifacio/Izturis?

It's gonna be fun to see Oliver walk away, Cecil and Delabar regress, Bautista decline and while all this happens the payroll goes up.

the good news is that he's got rid of everyone in the minors that would have to be added to the 40 man this year. He'd hate to have to lose a pitcher to add one to the forty man. Even if he was good at building a 25 man roster, he'd be's awful at building a full system.

How do you know what we are going to get back? We are going to have way too many relievers come the 2nd half of the season, and we might be able to part with some of our relievers to help us in a position of need

 

Oliver is retiring at the end of the season, there is NO reason to keep him

 

I really don't see the trade value in Oliver right now, doubt any team would give more than an org guy. If he's not dealt it could very easily be because there's no market for him.
