AuntieJPA Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Redmond wasn't the problem that inning. DeRosa wasn't clean, Melky can't run
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 gotta love how Buck and tabler talk about why LA players are so good. every thing you cant say about the jays I find it funny. I'd like to think it's their subtle way of saying that the Jays DON'T do the things they praise other teams for doing. It's obvious to me what they're saying, but it may not be to the guys who pay their salaries.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2013 Author Posted July 24, 2013 Great double! Good Offense!
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Remember when Davis was everyones whipping boy last year? Quietly putting together a good season. Sell high, he's a FA to be.
AuntieJPA Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Gotta love how they are going with the pitches and not over swinging. Though it shouldn't take half the season to figure this put. God, why is JP swinging when Davis is gonna run, though?
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2013 Author Posted July 24, 2013 JPA should tweet that hit after the ga--- oops lol
DH12 Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 almost all the jays hits are the other way or to center. Finally someone told them to do this?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Sac fly, we'll take it, atta boy Brett!
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Remember when Davis was everyones whipping boy last year? Quietly putting together a good season. Totally. And Gibbons has been using him very well.
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Gotta love how they are going with the pitches and not over swinging. Though it shouldn't take half the season to figure this put. They're pretending that they care after that meeting. Don't worry - the sloppy play will be back in full force soon enough.
CHRIS Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Sac fly, we'll take it, atta boy Brett! Pretty nice little AB by Lawrie.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Looks like Lawrie is still hitting the ball harder each day. Id day his timing is starting to come back a little.
CHRIS Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Lol at Zaun endorsing bringing DeRosa back next year.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Imagine Davis didn't run home on the SAC... Lawrie would go ape-s***
DH12 Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 They're pretending that they care after that meeting. Don't worry - the sloppy play will be back in full force soon enough. That's a coaching failure. Either that or the players are so stupid they can't hit the other way
AuntieJPA Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Perhaps, but the thing is they don't have to be great, just a bit more prepared, especially when hitting.
Pete_7 Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Looks like Lawrie is still hitting the ball harder each day. Id day his timing is starting to come back a little. Might have something to do with him being more straight up at the plate and not so hunched over. Go back and look at his AB's from 2011, he was much more straight up and drove the ball to all fields, starting to show signs of doing that again
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Lol at Zaun endorsing bringing DeRosa back next year. DeRosa -0.2 WAR to date... (maybe about even now)
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Would love to see more plays showing Brett's range at 2B
Pete_7 Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Lol at Zaun endorsing bringing DeRosa back next year. Totally fine with him coming back if he wants to
