o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 he was the only hitter they could find who was worse than JPA? it's a saber move all the way.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Lawrie in the 9 hole pleases me. Need the glove in there but might knock the cocky prick down a few notches too.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 With a lefty on the mound,Lawrie at this point in time serves as the ideal choice for the secondary lead off hitter role. The cocky goof better start taking advice from Mottolla seriously and quiet down his hands in his approach, otherwise he's a NL eight hole hitter at best.
fireballW Verified Member Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I thought Melky would be back today. I was really excited thinking about our infield for next year. We need a healthier, better outfield but if the rumours are right that Bautista will move to 3rd (and he should) then.. Bautista, Reyes, Lawrie, Edwin is a great infield. If only we could do better at catcher.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I hope AA is smart enough to trade JPA and sign Yadier Molina For two years, that's if Beeston and AA are serious about this "three year, go for it" window they keep talking about.
theblujay Verified Member Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Let's start off this side of the season with a win. Even if there's basically no chance they make the playoffs I still want to see them win. I wish we could get some young guys up though. Stroman/Nolin for Redmon, Pillar, Gose?...lol never mind we have no one.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Anyone here go get an autograph from Carlos Delgado???
