Chappy Community Moderator Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 This is one of those series the Jays have to sweep, anything less would be unacceptable. This Twins team looks like s***.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 @BlueJays: ROOF STATUS: Weather conditions are improving and the roof will be OPEN by game time

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Verlander and Scherzer have left town (thank God). It will. Exactly. The big problem is the starting pitching with this team we follow, how anyone could expect the blue jays to outslug the Tigers with those 2 pitchers on the mound is beyond me, let alone an offense with 3-4 regulars out injured. I do understand the frustration.

I do understand the frustration. Yep. In order to split or take 3 that series, we needed to beat up on one or both of the other two starters badly AND have one of our starters pitch a gem against Verlander or Scherzer. Didn't happen obviously.

Didn't happen obviously. The game that stung for me was the one against Fister. I thought Gibbons left Wang in too long (lol), but then again, whomever came in might've given up just as many. The Bonifacio error during JJ's start was huge, not making excuses for JJ, but absent that error, there's no one on and 2 outs.

BlueJayWay Verified Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Love how every close call at first goes against us.
LOVethISTEam Verified Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 This team has been giving up an insane amount of infield singles lately.
bronson44 Verified Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Why not reach out your arm and tag him?
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Love how every close call at first goes against us. Batter's foot clearly beat Buehrle's, but I'd like to see another replay angle of that. Looked like Buehrle might have tagged him.
BlueJayWay Verified Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Why not reach out your arm and tag him? Are you David Cooper?
