I actually don't hate this team this year. Good defensive effort and the ball movement has been better.

 

Is Biyombo actually good? The team always seems to be in minus territory whenever he's on the court but he's been noticeably effective on the glass. He's still very young so maybe we found a diamond in the rough.

For me he's still bad since he takes too much out of the offence. He has the worst On/Off court rating on the team which is telling I think. He basically makes it a 4 on 5 when the raps have the ball. It will be good when JV comes back.

Its certainly not the be all end all but I think it can be effective when used in conjunction with other stats.

Over a 1/3 of the season done and we're a half game back of 2nd in the East without JV and Carroll really contributing yet.

 

Cojo is such a more fun player to watch over Greveis and Williams.

Ross has actually been a really solid contributor off the bench recently. If he can keep up his December play, that is going to take our team to another level + JV playing to the same level he was before his injury gives us some nice upside

Biyombo is so bad offensively he pretty much has to be Ben Wallace on defense but he's not.

he's still young and is getting better offensively. His free throws are up to about 65% and he's been better on the pick and roll. Give him some time

It may be some bias on my part but Derozan seems to have stepped up his game. He's become a lot more efficient, willingly tries to draw defenders his way to find the open man, and appears to be making a conscious effort to attempt more threes.

Not sure if we have really talked too much about it but Demar has really been improved this last month. TS% at 57 with a usage of 30% - gotta see it continue obviously, but nice to see regardless

Yeah Org and I have been on the bandwagon a little more the past month. He's looking very encouraging. I'd pay this version of Demar $15m a year pretty easy, but it kinda makes Carroll a little redundant (not that Demar looked this good when Carroll signed).

 

Still need some improvements though. PF is lacking and the bench is ehh.

I disagree. If he's improved why wouldn't you resign him? He's playing excellent basketball right now, if he continues his current production then I welcome him on the team.

With Ross looking less s***** over the last few games, Patterson is really standing out as the weakest link.

Not really, he had this kind of a year 2 years ago and was trash the next year. He still hasn't improved his 3 pt shooting. Not a max player sorry.

I don't want him for max but 18-20 per wouldn't be bad for this type of player. I really want us to get Horford though, he's my #1 guy (excluding KD )

Even 18-20 for DD makes my head hurt but we all know it will be for the max and it will end in tears.

It's so stupid, it's not like the Bulls have a Biyombo type player on the other end. And then since Scola is too slow to get back it's just an open lane to the rim.
