SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I was at the game last night...man Kyle was awful. DD and Joseph were the only ones on offense not playing like complete buffoons.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Here we go with the first quarter Craptors yet again.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 much better second quarter. nice to see them get it going before the second half.
Laika Community Moderator Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 DeRozan is theeee weakest link
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 phew I thought curry got a concussion
43211234 Verified Member Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Holy f*** Derozan is horrible. Even if you don't look at analytics you'd think it would be more apparent to anyone who watches games.

Even if you don't look at analytics you'd think it would be more apparent to anyone who watches games. I know nothing about basketball or analytics, and he looks like a plug to me. Can't really shoot 3's and also doesn't/can't really attack the rim. He just seems to take a bulk load of mid-range 2's, without a great shooting percentage. I guess his best skill is getting to the line?

I guess his best skill is getting to the line? I have limited basketball knowledge of basketball and analytics but his elite ability to get to the line is the only thing that keeps him from being just a marginal bench player imo. He has improved his handles and he can attack the rim but everyone defends against that because he's a shooting guard who can't shoot. He's actually a decent passer though.
Laika Community Moderator Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Is Nogueira legit? He looks very effective.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Man, Bebe is playing on another level! Lowry/Bebe is like Paul/Jordan
43211234 Verified Member Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Yeah Nogueira has looked pretty good. I've seen him get lost on defence a few times but he has good hands and seems to be a pretty smart player.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Toronto has only turned the ball over 5 times this game, very impressive.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Curry is like God but real and better
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 lowry's carrying this team, they're probably a lottery team without him
Laika Community Moderator Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 lowry's carrying this team, they're probably a lottery team without him yeah but that's the whole sport
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 f***. Gotta make free throws man
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 yeah but that's the whole sport Yeah I know I just wanted to rip Derozan again.
Swervin81 Verified Member Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Lowry is the man. Almost singlehandedly won this game... well, okay, Bebe really did well too. Him and Lowry have been gold on the lob connection. Can some idiot GM please pay DeMar stupid money this offseason? He's James Harden without a jumper.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 First-person thoughts. -Absolute autism from either Casey or Lowry, whoever drew up the final full possession. You don't go for two and try and foul with GSW in the bonus. They just foul you and don't let you shoot a three. Put your destiny in your own hands. -Lowry is incredible. He was essentially indistinguishable from Steph tonight. -Run some more plays for Carroll. They think he's Demar or something. He's a spot up shooter. But Casey doesn't run plays, I forgot. -Nogueira is legit. Looks surprisingly comfortable/fluid. -Demar's shot selection was very good tonight, he drew lots of fouls and he only took guarded shots when his upfake actually provided separation. He looked like an above-average 3rd option to me tonight, better than most nights. -Scola is, like, Bargs-level bad for me at this point. -Watching Cory Joseph dribble is infuriating for some reason. He's always bouncing. He's so f***ing good though. Idk what happened at the end but it doesn't really matter, they would've fouled before we got a 3 pointer off. Game was over. -This team really, really needs someone to take the load off of Lowry. Jack made a good point that when our backcourt (also known as Kyle Lowry) isn't scoring, we really struggle. It's hard to depend on one guard in this league. Even Curry has Klay and Draymond. God, Draymond is the perfect fit for this team. -God/Curry knows why but I read the comments on a reaction to the game, someone actually made a good point though. Wonder if our slow starts are related to Scola starting. Think our 1st quarters might be better with 2Pat in there. Just please get a legitimate power forward holy s***.
