connorp Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 Yeah bro have you watched any LA games? What’s with all the love? Ball SUX
jmomcc Verified Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 Because guys with that skill set are expensive in free agency and the lakers won’t have an opportunity to add anyone like that for the next few years probably. If they sign Kyrie or Kemba, what the f*** is Kuzma going to do. He’s just a scorer. On the other hand, you could keep ball, sign someone like horford and that’s the guts of a balanced team. I can see the argument that New Orleans wanted ball, or that they think they have enough shot at Leonard that they needed to do it or whatever. It’s possible that ball never fulfills his potential but you bet on potential not some chucker.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 Hortford has bad contract written all over him. If the 4/100 reports are right anyway. Basketball will need to go through a baseball-type reality check with that

Other than that .. I think I’d rather have horford for 4/100 and banking on being bad in the 4th year anyway. Or, you could look at 2 or 3 10m guys.
jmomcc Verified Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 Also Davis is giving up his trade kicker so lakers absolutely have a max slot. Leonard would be crazy. That’s multiple rings.

Doesn’t seem like KL’s MO though. Think it’d be a total shock to everyone. Everyone knows he’s already a Clipper:)
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 Get some profile pictures you heathens. I'm having a hard time telling who is who.

Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 Is there anyway to tell how good a player is defensively? Are there any advanced stats on that?
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2019 Posted June 29, 2019 At 31, Darren Collison is retiring getting the NBA. Something about his faith and being a Jehovah's Witness. He was going to make some serious coin this offseason as a FA too.

connorp Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2019 Posted June 29, 2019 What a f***ing idiot. Good for him you atheist bastards. The less you care about money in life, the happier you are. I wish I could be more of that. This guy is also made well into 8 figures likely and doesn’t seem like the type that’s pissed away $. He’ll be just fine

I receive so much joy from volunteering to help others and participate in a worldwide ministry.” He’d do a lot more good giving the money from his next contract to the poor and needy than preaching about his superstitious nonsense.

Objectively speaking, if you could give a poor guy some sort of $ or bring him closer to god, the latter is better. Whether or not God is real is irrelevant to that.

I mean Jehova's Witnesses are a life-ruining cult that sucks the joy out of life for an awful lot of people.

I mean Jehova's Witnesses are a life-ruining cult that sucks the joy out of life for an awful lot of people. I can. I know you think people are “weak” and that’s why they need God to be their moral compass but the fact of the matter is that’s how the majority of people lead their life. Religion is all about positive things for the soul, so whether it’s “true” or not doesn’t matter. That said, JW are extremely annoying and I’m not a fan. However, I can respect the call to a higher purpose
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2019 Posted June 29, 2019 YOU guys can’t be objective is more like it because you have a heavy bias. I don’t have such burdens

I wasn’t trying to pass my thoughts off as a proper PhD thesis. It’s just the pretty basic concept that religion represents the best of humanity and whether or not any of it is “true” doesn’t change it

Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2019 Posted June 29, 2019 I have never met, Boxy. I have no idea what he looks like or how he is in real life. However, when I think of Boxy I think of this guy that hosts Off the Pill. Great Pod Cast with Jeremy Lin..
