Lol, TSN is showing a regular season replay of the Toronto - Golden State game. That had me freaked out for a moment when I saw it on the listing.

 

They had the other game they played on last night, also.

NBA TV (Exactly same as MLB TV in the US except basketball) is also playing) the two regular season games. The biggest takeaway I had was, I saw JV running around. I am glad he in gone and would rather have Gasol any day of the week.

Guys lets start a new NBA dynasty league, who’s with me? Spanky? jaysblue? P24? With all the renewed Raptors bandwagoners we can definitely drum up enough interest at least for a 12 teamer.

I might be game. I really prefer deeper leagues to shallow ones though.

I would prefer a 20 teamer but it’s possible to expand later if necessary. Mostly I just really want to be in a fantasy basketball dynasty league again even if there are no farms.

Actually, I like the no farms for it. That would eliminate most of the bookkeeping too, and shouldn't be necessary like it is in other leagues anyway.

There is basically one or two decent prospects per draft and that’s it. We can just dump them into the waiver draft with a weighted lottery.

I’m perplexed why anyone would care if OG plays this series or thinks he’ll make an impact. Even when he played this season, he sucked. There’s no way I’d give him any rotation minutes; garbage time only.

He's a very good defender going up against a team that loves to put their matchups on screens and forces constant switching and movement. It won't be as important if the bench (FVV, Ibaka and Powell) is playing well, but he's still a guy you'd love to have for a few minutes at a time, especially when Leonard needs a rest. Having an extra good wing defender would certainly help.

I've been wanting to get into basketball again, and would probably participate in a dynasty league if you'd have me, as long as there were no farms/shallow farms.

I’ve been watching basketball more than any other sport, so I would take I on a franchise in a basic league that’s being suggested. Also none of this BTS “if you’d have me please”, give me a spot biotch!

Cousins active for tonight. Seems kind of fast given the nature of his injury, no?

 

As a Raptors fan I’m not upset about this. He’ll probably be in poor condition, garbage defensively, and potentially put up a bunch of selfish shots. More realistically his minutes will be limited.

He defended Lebron super good last year. I think people are still holding on to that. But OG took a huge step back this year IMO

I'm not sure that it was a stepback necessarily, so much as him just going through a mountain of s***. His dad died and he was injured for long periods of time. Of course, that doesn't mean we should expect him to come back in the middle of the Finals and immediately rediscover his previous form or to have grown at all, but he is a useful defender to have available IMO.

I’m actually just rooting for some good games. I’ll take GS in 6 but I think the Raps have more than a punchers chance, especially with Durant out.

This. Him being on the floor will likely help the Raps more than Igodala taking those minutes. I suppose if he just eats Bogut's 5 minutes in the first game or so, that would benefit them.
