The extra $50M while true is slightly misleading, because basically the Raptors are able to offer one extra year at a slightly higher AAV than any other team.

Any team can offer him max which is 30 percent of the current salary cap with 5 percent increase per year. Raptors can offer him 8 percent increase per year as well as an extra year
