Maahfaace Verified Member Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 GS got absolutely annihilated on their home court by Dallas. Guess sitting out Curry puts a monkey wrench in their machinery. Without Curry the Warriors are just another playoff team in the west. He is the catalyst to all the ball movement and spacing that benefits the rest of the squad. Durant is awesome, but he doesnt have anywhete near the same cohesive effect Steph does.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 I thought after Siakam poked that ball to get Lamb behind half court, I said to myself "game over." Can't believe it. At least this was a regular season game and not in the Playoffs.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 You can't even be mad when you lose to a shot like that. Perfect defense from Pascal. Good comeback from the team is encouraging at least, the Hornets were lights out from deep the majority of the game, and then there's that shot lol.
onwego Verified Member Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 What's with these compound fractures? Are they in essence wearing ski boots on the court in these shoes? I'd take a low degree ankle sprain over possibly ending my career with my fib-tib sticking out through my sock.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 Valanciunas in Memphis is terrific. 19.8 PPG 10.4 RPG 2.1 APG 1.6 BPG Playing 27.8 MPG

Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 This deal is not going to work out well for the Raps.

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 JV finally realizing his full potential as a 20/10 guy. And he just put up another monster night, 34 points and 20 rebounds.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 This deal is not going to work out well for the Raps. He would've been a superstar if he could defend the pnr even a little. Old ass Marc gasol is still a better fit for the playoffs.
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Good for him. After years with Toronto, we knew what we were getting here with JV. If Memphis developed a system where he can flourish, consider that a win for both teams. It's no different than when Lowry the malcontent came here.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Westbrook got two triple-doubles tonight with a 20/20/20 game. Absurd.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Westbrook got two triple-doubles tonight with a 20/20/20 game. Absurd. That's nuts!

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Are they calling that a double-triple-double? Cause if they aren't, they should.
onwego Verified Member Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 8th place in the Western standings requires a .570 pct.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Delon Wright has put up back-to-back triple doubles!
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 I caught the end of the Raptors game and my god, Kawhi Leonard was doing his best DeMar DeRozan impression
onwego Verified Member Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Almost to games that actually matter....
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 While doing no research on starting lineups today, I see the Raptors are -8 tonight which I assume means all hands are on deck and they are not punting the game. Glad to see someone smart behind the scenes knowing that if they win tonight they clinch home court against Golden State since the Raptors have the H2H tiebreaker.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 Good point! I just assumed Kawhi and Lowry would be resting tonight but they definitely need to win this game if they have championship aspirations. Even just going through the Bucks to get to the finals would be a big challenge, but playing GSW without home-court advantage is a death sentence.

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Curry got hurt in the Golden State game (don't know if it's bad or not, but he left the game). That would be a massive blow to that team if he misses any playoff games.

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Hasn’t he on a number of occasions missed games in the playoffs? I think he missed the 1st round last year.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Lin f***ing sucks. I wasn't expecting much out of him, but man he has been awful. VanVleet being healthy is almost as important as anyone else on the team, he's such a stabilizing presence off the bench.
