John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 We all like our players busting their asses to win. Lowry played his ass off tonight
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 A good friend of mine broke her tailbone while having sex once. I became quite aroused when she told me this.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 TIL the Raptors have the 3rd best record in the NBA
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 Prettu excited to see Delon get 30m of playing time. Hopefully Lowry isnt gone for longer than a month

I don't know anything about basketball, but please don't get excited about the Raptors because they are just exactly the same as last year. Especially DeRozan.

He's been fantastic this year. Much more efficient.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 Kinda rough tossing Ibaka on that.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 Raps are getting f***ed up on the glass tonight.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 This has been an impressive comeback, though.
43211234 Verified Member Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 Brutal. Powell continues to be unable to finish at the rim.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 Brutal. Powell continues to be unable to finish at the rim. It really is something. I've never seen someone miss so many shots like that before. Well, maybe Rodman.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 Big Baller Brand being sued for $25k by the company that helps produce their apparel. Suing after 3 months of trying to collect. Can buy the kid a Lamborghini but can't pay their suppliers lol Honestly with all the free publicity he get I can't believe that brand isn't worth more. As annoying as they are (and that's really annoying), I'd still take them over Kardashians in a heartbeat.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 Raps up 19 and I still don't trust that lead. Lol.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 Raps up 19 and I still don't trust that lead. Lol. There's a reason not to trust it
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 Refs desperately trying to get the Cavs back into the game.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 Refs desperately trying to get the Cavs back into the game. Doesn't seem as bad as most games with the Cavs, aside from two phantom calls against JV.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 Well... The Raps are up by 35 in the 4th quarter. I feel a bit more confident now, but it's not over yet.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 133-99 final. Not only satisfying that it was a National game so it's nice exposure for the team, but they used that venue and plastered the Cavs.
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 So if the Cavs keep downplaying during the regular season, they'll downplay themselves right out of a Finals spot. Three blow out losses against good teams and a close game against a basement dweller on their four game road trip. Barely positive point differential now. I don't know basketball that well but that looks like a team that wasn't what it was the last couple of years. If I bothered with bets that took 5 months to complete, some money on the Raptors or Celtics to be the conference winner looks pretty good right about now.

LeBron as usual is just carrying the entire team on his back, he has zero support from the rest of the players right now.

I really hope he goes to the Lakers so the Cavs can continue their legacy as an 11 win team. What a shithole city. Cleveland has had far too much winning (in sports, not in life) recently. It needs more Browns.

The thing with Lebron lead teams is that they have a history of turning it on in the playoffs (Cleveland and Miami). So, yes, they look like garbage right now...but don't sleep on them. Those veteran teams can be very dangerous when they get on the same page. It may not happen, but don't be surprised.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 So seriously I'm not trolling... but assuming both teams are healthy, would you really bet on the Raps over Lebr.. I mean the Cavs in a playoff series? Kool-aid is nice sometimes:)

Now whether that means they will play at a high level come the playoffs like they're capable of, and LeBron will completely dominate as usual, is a different thing.

Not sure how many times Bron's teams have to coast regular season to know they're coasting. Let's just bookmark these posts
