GD Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Set your line-ups in our league, meat. It's not hard. I literally forgot the league existed since I set my lineups last. Yes, it is hard when I'm studying non stop, meat. Or replace me.

GD Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Yay... that's the answer we're looking for... lame. If someone can't go through a f***ing 3 week busy patch, after setting their lineups consistently and having a successful previous season, without being flagged down in other threads, then I'm out. f*** off.

Whoa... whoa... whoa... relax man. Holy f***, you know it takes a couple minutes 1 day a week to swap in active players for the week... where's this hostility coming from?
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 You know this is like the NBA thread right?

Holy f***, you know it takes a couple minutes 1 day a week to swap in active players for the week... where's this hostility coming from? I am posting in the NBA thread. You are tracking me down about fantasy hockey which has not been a priority for me. Do you see why this is annoying to not only me, but the other people trying to post about the NBA in the NBA thread?

I just posted to you 2 cause you had just posted, my bad, if you think I'm tracking you down, sorry. I don't think getting lambasted was warranted. Anyhow, I'm done with trying to keep that league afloat.

GD Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 literally no one cares about the WTP league I mean, I did forget about it for 3+ weeks so
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Set your line-ups in our league, meat. It's not hard. I've been setting my lineups..
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 I had no idea Pau Gasol was on the Spurs. He seems like the perfect guy for that team. Not a great defender like Tim Duncan but his skillset just fits right in.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Why are KD and Russ not even on that list? lol Made a list of 5 and for some reason didn't even think of them lol. Although I wouldn't take Russ over any of those 5.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 If anyone wants to avoid handing out candy tonight to kids & instead want tickets for tonights game, let me know before 5PM. Tickets are pretty cheap for tonight ($40 each/$80 for the pair), so if interested send me a PM.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Holy f*** man it's nice of you to sell below face but you're posting a lot, lol.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Holy f*** man it's nice of you to sell below face but you're posting a lot, lol. Ah I know, sorry if I'm pissing off people. Don't mean to be annoying. My friend hasn't been able to make some of these games early on in the season, so its more of a last minute thing. Plus a lot of their games early on are played at the ACC. First 5 of 6 games are at home. I'll sell games to you guys at my SSH price, so not looking to making a profit.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 DeRozan has gone off this season so far.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 So...Derozan is kind of amazing right now.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 So...Derozan is kind of amazing right now. Totally unsustainable but enjoy it. He's carrying us.

jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Great start but until he does it in the playoffs against the lock down defenders its kinda whatever
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Carroll is not very good. Rather the Junk Yard Dog.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Great start but until he does it in the playoffs against the lock down defenders its kinda whatever I'll settle for not shooting a historically low % during the playoffs.
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 So...Derozan is kind of amazing right now. Yeah but wasn't that his whole thing last year too? Go off on weak teams/defenses? (Ok excluding Cleveland). I'm not opposed to his skill set. The Raptors need to take out the weaker teams on a consistent basis if they want another top 2 seed this year.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 He's playing 37 Min/game which will need to come down. Basically doing it without any reliance on the 3 ball which is quite impressive.

Other star swing players continue to punk him, even in the regular season. Jimmy Butler, Paul Geogre, Boston has Crowder. Even with a top 2 seed, does anyone have faith right now DeRozan would carry us in the post season? Last year we got pretty lucky with favourable match ups. Very likable guy and every year I hope he makes us shut up..but he doesnt

Last year we got pretty lucky with favourable match ups. Very likable guy and every year I hope he makes us shut up..but he doesnt Isn't that kind of the point though? Grab #2 and hope for two 40-45 win teams until the finals. I was a little disappointed over the off-season. Thought Masai could have done much more with the flexibility he had. But I don't hate this team. Beyond Lowry and Carroll everyone else is under 28 years old. Solid and deep young core. As long as Lebron James is in the league and not in a Raptors uniform, getting to a Championship game is always going to be an uphill battle. But every year he's getting a year older. If someone tells me that the Raptors don't win a championship in the next four years but the team averages 45-50 wins, a couple of Atlantic division titles, 4 playoff spots and several playoff round wins I think that's a decent outcome that I'd be happy with. Hell of a lot better than the Triano years. I know some people have this all-or-nothing opinion that unless there's championship hopes you might as well tank. I can't disagree with that more. I don't want to cheer for the Nets or 76ers. s*** for half a decade and still no end in sight. Not every team is going to get lucky like the Timberwolves. As long as the Raptors remain in that tier 2 group of teams that would have a decent shot if the Warriors folded and James retired, the franchise will remain strong. Fans and the ownership are going to want to support it and players are going to want to play here. Losing doesn't breed winning down the road (through high draft picks). Losing breeds more losing and causes players like Vince Carter to be traded for peanuts.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 The 76ers are looking good tho. Would be looking better had they not taken Okafor. Embiid is nasty.
