I don't think it's that specifically. They just don't know how else to run an offense.

 

They run the same offence all year long. Its just one giant clusterf*** that relies on it's backcourt to make plays. It works all game until the final 2 minutes when defenses can get away more with cheating and hacking on the drive.

Yeah you described it very well. Phil did the triangle, Casey did the clusterf*** (and Kerr did the Curry). The offensive performance is more in spite of everything

 

I still wonder what Demar would do with a better coach. Not risking $20m on it tho

it's a great deal if he can be healthy. It's unfortunate... he's been out for a lot of different reasons this year. He's such a great defender and I hope he can get some amount of luck going forward.

Raptors forward DeMarre Carroll has been sidelined with a foot injury for the past three games and we now appear to know its source: A change of his shoes.

 

Raptors head coach Dwane Casey joined Prime Time Sports on Thursday evening and touched on Carroll’s bout of plantar fasciitis in his right foot.

 

“When he changed shoes for some odd reason after training camp, his foot just kept getting sorer and sorer and developed the plantar fasciitis,”

Yes, nothing catastrophic but he had the reputation of being injury prone.

His defense is overrated. His defensive metrics in Atlanta were okay but he's not Kawhi or anything.

They still show that they have zero clue that the rules change at the end of the game. You wont get a call going to the rim unless you're head is taken off, or you have James on the back of your jersey
