I understand Terrence Ross' upside but between his playoff disappearance last season and the lack of growth this season, he'd be my trade chip of choice. Does he have good value as a 23 year old who was an 8th overall pick?

His upside isn't that high.

He should 100% be on the trade block.

You know more about basketball than I do but I feel like some would disagree. I think it's hard to score 51 points in a game and not have a high upside.

He just got hot and hit a ton of 3s.

He can't play defense, can't get to the line, and hates contact.

Look at Derozan's progression from his rookie year in terms of free throw attempts. Ross gets to the line like once a game. He doesn't have the fire.

I feel like he has some extreme confidence issues or something. Very passive.

His athleticism is top notch, that alone gives him good potential. A team with a good coaching staff would probably like someone like him.

Is he any better than he was in his rookie year? You can see notable improvements with JV. I just don't see it with Ross. If he could play defense it'd be a different story... but he can't.

The fact that he's dumb is stopping him from reaching his potential, basically. You seem to admit that he has a lot of unrealized upside.
