eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 What kind of a whistle was that?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 WTF? That whistle came an hour late.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 2pat needed that 3 so badly. 9 point lead. Now go for the jugular. Defensive intensity.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Damn... Hard to believe that was only Lowry's 2nd assist. He's been solid as always.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Get out the Salami and Cheese MaMa, This Ball Game is Over!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Great 4th quarter as usual. Lou Williams came up big today. Hopefully JJ's ankle sprain isn't major, would suck if he had to miss time.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 JV puts up 17/14/2 on 7/12 efficiency, all in 33 minutes. Please repeat this Casey.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Bulls lost tonight to the Pacers. Tibs played his main guys huge min, Butler had 41 min. For all the crap Casey gets about playing his bench too much, limiting starter's min is only going to help these guys in the long run.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 http://giant.gfycat.com/ComplexGreatIguana.gif Sounds like he's going to be ok but that was ugly.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 http://giant.gfycat.com/ComplexGreatIguana.gif Sounds like he's going to be ok but that was ugly. Wouldn't be surprised if he misses a week. And tbh I hope he is smart and lets it heal before getting back on the court. Last thing we need is another Amir situation.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 UGH it sounds like JJ is going to be out for an extended period... Definitely missing the game tomorrow night and pointless to dress him against a weaker Bucks team. Probably at least 10+ days. http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=1355579&sid=6b3ba878317cfb780e1f27697e8ee71d

I had one of those last year and it took me about two weeks to get back to a point where I could run effectively using a brace. However, I didn't have a super medical team giving me rehab daily. I would bet he's out 10-14 days though, as I think the Raptors will want him as close to 100% as possible

Would've started him against LBJ easily. I wouldn't be surprised to see Fields get some time against Lebron to be honest. Have zero faith in Ross being able to slow him down.

This is HUGE for us as we get the lesser of the Nuggets/Knicks pick in 2016. NYY are obviously going to be terrible and if the Nuggets tank we might be looking at a top 5 pick. Faried is probably too expensive to acquire but JJ Hickson would be a really nice insurance policy to acquire for the stretch run.

Just another asset that we can use or trade. Too bad the pick isn't this year. Even then though anything can happen. NY could sign a big free agent and be good next year in a bad conference. The chances of the Nuggets and Knicks both picking in the top 5 is slim to none. I think you trade the pick as it has more value then having a young player who wouldn't get much playing time.

Despite the East not being great, I don't think one big free agent fixes them next year (considering it isn't Lebron or Durant). There are still a lot of quality teams (cleveland, chicago, toronto, miami, charlotte, indiana with george, washington, brooklyn, milwaukee and orlando are looking much improved) that they would have to pass over Not that I am against moving the pick if the right deal comes along

It's pretty hard to win right away with a Rookie PG but next year I'd probably pick them as a favourite to win the 6th-7th seed

I don't like Moe Harkless, the kid is the Starlin Castro of the NBA. Nicholson should play more minutes.

I mean we are only 10 games into this season so I wouldn't even look at the standings right now.

Point I was trying to make is the East is deeper than one may think
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Pretty big matchup tonight, we need JV to play well and for Casey to give him 30+ minutes again. Also, I really hope Demar doesn't go into force terrible shots against elite defender mode. Take it to the rim demar!
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 (edited) Really surprising to see the Raps as 4 point favs tonight. Memphis looks really good. Edit: 5 players on Memphis including Tony Allen have the flu and there is a "slim" chance they play tonight. Even then though the Raps were still 2 point favs when vegas came out with the lines. immature Verified Member Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Lets go Raps! This will be another big test. Hopefully they bounce back from that disastrous 3rd quarter against Chicago and get a W against a playoff team. So far the best team they have beaten is Washington without Beal.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Anyone have any idea what happended to open gym? I swear by this time last year they had already aired two episodes. Its a pretty dick move to hyow up the show and just f*** off

Its been 1/8th of the season so far and they have to do tons of editing once they film. I think they would have one come out shortly.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Lower bowl looks barely half full.

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Jonas took a jumpshot! needs to be aware on that pass. Wtf that clearly hit Gasol?
