Unless there are some huge injuries, the Raptors should easily win the division. The Atlantic is extremely bad.

 

Except divisions are meaningless in the NBA (and NHL) :)

Your guaranteed to play those teams 4 times a year but I agree they don't really mean much standings wise.

So apparently Lebron's deal is only for 2/42 and he can opt out after NEXT year.

 

He's just awaiting the new TV deal that'll be signed in a few years which is expected to raise the salary cap to 80M.

 

Kind of sucks that the cap is going to get raised so much seeing as how it'll help a lot of teams that are in s***** cap situations (while we're in great shape).

2 years 20 mil for Deng. That's a very solid deal for the Heat. Really if Rose comes back, there could be a 5 team race for the those top 2 seeds. Should lead to a much more exciting playoff race this year at least

Heat still need to do more IMO, Bosh + Deng and scraps isn't that great of a team unless Bosh goes back to his Toronto form

Lance Stephenson going to Charlotte. This significantly weakens the Pacers.

His suitors came and went throughout free agency and his dialogue with the Pacers’ front office diminished, leaving an uncertainty about whether their five-year, $44 million deal was still available."

 

Basically turned down 5/44 and ended up with 3/27.5 (with the last year being a team option).

 

I could see the Pacers finishing in teh 4-6 range this year.

Pretty sure a lot of people will pick the Raptors this season, along with the Wiz as their dark horse teams just to say I told you so.

 

Not sure why the Wiz are being projected to somehow dramatically improve. Paul Pierce isnt a better player than Trevor Ariza

Dwight Buycks is a joke. Guy thinks he is Iverson out there. Pathetic job getting others involved.

The teams with 2nd and 3rd year players always dominate. If we had Jonas and Ross playing we would probably have a shot as well

Has anyone looked into getting a mini pack or half season tickets?

 

The mini packs only are allowing you to put a deposit on a single ticket and no more for whatever reason, the half season ticket link seems to be hidden because I cant find it. Whoever it handing the ticket central portion of the site should really be fired.

 

They also seemed to manage f***ing up the detail portion of what the mini packs do..as it says it gives you access to playoff tickets before the public in 1 menu and doesn't in a separate link..

Apparently Wiggins +++ for Love is about to go down.

 

Rumors about Wiggy + Waiters + TT

 

That'd be an amazing haul for the T-Wolves seeing as how Love is going to walk anyway. Probably best for Wiggy's development as well because he won't be the 3rd/4th option.

Nah, playing with lebron would probably do more for his development than jacking up 20 shots a game for the f***ing Timberwolves.
