So ridiculous the way it was used. Of course he wants a f***ing championship, who doesnt?

Toronto can offer the most money, Lowry has many years left in the league to win a championship but realistically this is his only chance for a massive deal.

I highly doubt he is ring chasing at this point in his career.

It really does seem like a whole load of BS from a hack reporter.

Lol yep. Masai was on Tim and Sid and literally laughed on the air when this "rumor" was brought up

I'm totally plagiarizing from the other message board:

"Ric Bucher is a hack, there's a reason ESPN threw him out. Remember this gem?"

They have hired some really good writers for their NFL section. Still has the stigma of a terrible site though, for exactly this reason

Lol.

My deepest and sincere apologies. My report on Lowry and a S&T between the Raptors-Heat is wrong. I should've known better. I could not...

...be more embarrassed. I can't explain why someone would go the lengths "my source" did to set me up, but that's irrelevant. I allowed...

Man, if this guy was an acquaintance of mine I would totally f*** with him all the time. He seems like a complete tool who would believe anything.

I bet his source was some fake twitter account of an exec or some s***.

Apparently Jason Kidd wants to run everything in Brooklyn and wanted a pay raise. Now it looks like he'd out, possibly to the Bucks.

The Toronto Raptors trade John Salmons to the Hawks for Lou Williams and Lucas Bebe Nugiera.

Williams is a 6'2" combo guard. He's not spectacularly efficient at a .419 FG% in his career, but he hits the three ball at around 34%. 18.2 PTS/36 on a .536 TS%. .116 WS/48 for his career. Coming off a down year. He'll make $5,450,000 in 2014-2015 before becoming an unrestricted free agent.

It's obvious why the Hawks did this but I love it for the Raps. Great job Uriji. Nailed it again.

Whoa they got Bebe in the deal! He was a prospect I really liked in last years draft and Masai got him for Salmons? OMG

Yup. Really, really liked him too. We're gonna be really strong protecting the rim next year with Caboclo and Bebe. Lou will be a nice heat check guy off the bench. Good catch and shoot or drive and kick to him guy. Hopefully they get him more involved than Novak. Wonder if this means De Colo or Vasquez aren't coming back cause he'd be a nice backup PG.

Caboclo should go play 2 years at Charlton University.

In the NCAA, players may spend no more than 20 hours a week on “athletically related activities” during the season and no more than eight hours a week in the offseason. In Canada, coaches face no limitations during the season, and though they’re unable to conduct full practices during the summer, they can still work with players one-on-one. “If it’s July and my best player wants to spend eight hours a day working with me in the gym, we can do that,” Smart says. “Sometimes it’s crazy to look at an NCAA team with a lot of talent and hear talk about how they’re not well coached. Well, maybe they’re not, but in a lot of cases, that’s not the coach’s fault. There are a lot of really, really good Division I coaches, but the NCAA has set up a system where they’re not allowed to coach. Same thing with the players. You see a player who’s not improving, so it looks like he’s not working hard. Well, if you’re not getting coached, you can work as hard as you want, but what if you’re practicing bad habits? You’re still not going to improve.”

Masai is that s***!

Got a useful bench piece + their 2013 first rounder. Essentially got our 2013 pick that we gave away for Lowry back in this deal.

Love it

You can't play college ball if you've been drafted

I thought that may be the case... wasn't sure about Canadian university ball.

The D-League will be fine for him. Assuming he doesn't stick in the NBA, which knowing Casey, he won't due to PT.
